I have forgotten everything to do with how battling works after 4 years of not playing. Which modifications are good for this weapon? I think I used to have mods on it but I accidentally removed it from my armory and I think it lost its mods. :(

While I'm at it I lost my mods on my Sentinel too

I have a guide to mod crystals over here: The Guide to Mod Crystals (v2) I suggest reading through to familiarize yourself with what the crystals do.

Basically, which crystals to use is dependent on the opponent.

If there’s a chance they can freeze you or steal from you, you’ll want to use parched, blessing of natural armor, or rose crystals to protect against those.

When freezing and stealing are disabled, that frees you up to be a bit more creative. You can use the singed or elemental crystals to add more attack or defense icons of your choosing to your weapons. You can also use critical strikes to have a chance to double your damage.

That’s pretty much the gist of it. There are also freezing and stealing crystals if you want to play around with those, but I don’t use them too often.

It can be very complicated, haha, but you’ll get the hang of it! Parched crystals will certainly help with the freezing though. The difference is night and day :P

nice, I'll just load up on those for now. Every time I get frozen, it really ruins the whole fight lol.

I used to be pretty okay at it, but I think they changed stuff and I also forgot most of it. Luckily, I still have all the pricy weapons I bought back in the day lol

Most of us are happy to answer any questions you have and I’m sure you’ll have more :P Battling seems to be best learned from other people because it’s so nuanced, but practicing and experimenting also helps a lot. When you lose, try to figure out why it’s happening and if there’s anything you can change in your strategy. If you’re still stuck, we’re here to help!

you guys are amazing! Thanks for all the help! As I get more used to it and start trying to go at the bigger opponents I probably will need help lol. The hardest thing for me is remembering what all my weapons do and what I bought them for.

I have a weapon set called "fuck the hustler" and I'm like. Hm. That's a fascinating insight into something I knew 4 years ago and have fully forgotten in the intervening time

I just read your comment and discovered that you can name weapon sets! That's what that little bar does, I guess. Lol
