Whenever It was Valentine's day when i was little I would beg my mum to buy me a card or some chocolate so i Didn't feel left out between her and my stepdad (at the time) if she didn't buy me anything I would cry all day. so yeah I was the best 6 year old ever on Valentine's

Food service industry.
If you work in food service of any kind, Valentine's Day is a holiday you just don't get to celebrate because you have to serve everyone that doesn't work in the hospitality industry. (My beau is a chef, I can't remember the last time we celebrated Valentine's Day on the day proper.)
Like, I literally didn't even remember there was a holiday this month and was VERY confused when a friend of my beau's said he hoped we enjoyed the holiday. I... literally had to ask my beau what holiday he meant, because the next one I could think of coming up was Easter. =w=;
On the plus side, wages and profits in mid-February for most of the hospitality industry are pretty great.

Mine despise all holidays. This stems from an upbringing that would forbid them on a set of beliefs, which mine have taken far beyond that.
An old obsolete model like mine would work every day, holiday or not.
Mine look forward to the day when there will be no such holidays, instead all their core values will be celebrated independent of any particular day.
Old, and obsolete.
