Hello friends, I am new-ish to Subeta and so far I'm loving every minute of it. I love the pets and all the cool features. I love that you don't have to restock in order to make an income (questing ftw). I love the steampunk city on the moon. I love all the LGBT+ representation on the site. I love the users who have been absolutely lovely whenever I've accidentally bumped into them like a moth flying into a lightbulb. This site is becoming a second home to me, so I figured it was time I started talking on the forums and meeting people! I've been playing virtual pet sites for years now, but Subeta is hands down the best I've encountered so far.

As for my real life, it's pretty boring. I'm a legal assistant in my late 20s enjoying the SINK life out on the Canadian prairies. I'm trans (agender) and asexual and my pronouns are they/them. I have two cats who I love very much and I'm addicted to bath bombs. I like weird history, Emilie Autumn, Literal Witchcraft and crime docs (so long as the subject matter is covered in a respectful fashion). I'm a bunch of mental illnesses in a trench coat, but I think that's the case with a lot of people nowadays considering the sorry state of the world... but hey at least we have Subeta!

So yeah, thank you for making this lovely little site where I can express myself creatively and get away from it all. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! I am awfully shy but I would love to hear about your onsite pets or your irl pets or how your life is going or just anything really if you're so inclined to share. Ohhh I love that you're also a pet person! If you're looking for ways to connect with or lurk around others who are passionate about pets the Subeta Pets forum (especially the Pet Spotlight Support group) and the Creativity Corner are great places!

I'm not code-skilled, but do like to write! The pets are the best part of the site IMO and are what keep me attached and coming back with new inspiration. I'm slowly making my way through collecting art, making (using pre-made code and just changing it a bit or sometimes buying unique) profiles, and writing stories for each pet. I'd love to win a spotlight for everyone <3 I have eight animal companions IRL - five dogs and three cats, plus my soul-dog Juneau who passed away in 2021. My Subeta pet Booped is a tribute pet to all of them (and a work in progress) but feel free to hop over to their profile if you want! Each of their names in the "story" section actually links to a photo of them!

Hi ! It's nice to meet you! Sorry for taking a few days to reply - work and creativity sucked a bunch of energy out of me and I wanted to post a reply that wasn't like... an emoji or something, lol. I'm glad you like Barney's page! It's hardly done I'm afraid; this little guy has a whoooole story to tell and it won't be over until about December of 2024. I'll be sporadically updating his page as time goes by and events unfold.

Eight pets, eh? You remind me of my sister - last I checked she had three cats, two guinea pigs, a jack russell terrier and a bearded dragon. Maybe someday if I can manage the time, energy and space I'll be able to provide for that many animals (I'd especially love to get some rats tbh) but for now it's just me and my two cats. I love your pets' tribute profile! The art collection and layout are amazing and your pets all sound so incredibly sweet. Juneau sounds like such a wonderful, fun, loving dog and I'm sorry for your loss. I've had both of my cats since I started high school and I'm nearing 30 now, I kept them after my dad passed and moved halfway across the country to be able to afford to rent a place where I could live with them since the housing crisis in Ontario had me stuck living with roommates whose cats did not like my cats. DX It was a whole adventure but I had to do it for them. Pets are often overlooked, but they have such a huge impact on our lives, and I can tell by their page that you love yours dearly!

I don't recommend this many animals, but I couldn't imagine life without them <3 I love rats! I had two in college - Arbor and Denali. They're so smart and such great companions. I believe there's even a rat that has an official Trick Title (originally designed by AKC for dogs lol).

I'm excited to check back and see how Barnaby's story unfolds. Such a creative idea! Nice met as well! Hope you find lots to love about the site!

Welcome to subeta! I haven't given too much care to my online pets haha... BUT my husband and I just adopted out first kitten together and that has been an absolute blast!
