It's my first year on Subeta and I thought the snowball idea seemed really fun, but I haven't seen any evidence of anyone participating. Is anyone actually doing it or is it unpopular? I threw a couple of random ones with no response so I think I may have accidentally annoyed some people.

Personally I'm not bothered by the snowballs, but if people don't like the snowballs on their avatar, there are items they can wear to avoid it c:

I've thrown a few (still have many left to go for the achievement) but I only use the random button because it's just so tedious. Also, in my experience, snowballs only stay on my HA for like 30 seconds or less and I rarely see the little event banner telling me who threw it, so I don't really get a chance to reciprocate even if I wanted to. But getting hit by snowballs doesn't bother me at all, especially since the effect is so fleeting!

It does seem like not many people are participating since I've only noticed being hit a few times this year...not sure if it's because the notification is so brief that I'm missing them or if most of us are just tired of it (waiting for the timer while buying thousands of snowballs is the worst). A link to the snowtapult on the front page would be a helpful reminder too, I just keep forgetting it exists.

they’ll be closing the catapult soon for survival but it should come back after the event. i hope everyone got them snowballs in last week.
