As the title says, what's a (Subeta related) fact, tip, project, or other item of knowledge you wish you knew earlier? Did you accidentally buy something for sP when you could have used tokens, or tokens when you could have used sP? Did you accidentally feed a potion rather than use it? Were you using the wardrobe inefficiently or did you miss a quality of life function for an embarrassingly long time?
Simple things and complicated things are both fine!
I think my "wish I knew earlier" was that you can subscribe to threads. I missed that button for a couple weeks and kept going through tedious lists of forums and posts being mystified that people could keep up with all these conversations.

On the top right corner of the thread (where the topic title is) is a little checkmark, click that to subscribe and you will get an event notification when there are new posts in the thread. If I'm not mistaken, you only get a notification once inbetween each time you check the thread, which is pretty handy!
You can manage your subscriptions via Interact > Forums > Subscribed Threads on the top nav bar

Looks like your question got answered. Glad this thread could help lol. It's like a whole new world once you got that down. Thanks for answering :) And the notification frequency does seem to be once in between checks. It's very chill. Only thing I have to check is occasionally threads fill up and a new one begins.

Wow that works so well! (Like, holy crap.) Thanks for the tip.

Certain tasks are faster to do on mobile than desktop. For example, I have 35 pets I train and read books to. It’s a lot faster to tap buttons than clicking them, as well as easier to utilize the ‘back’ and ‘cancel refresh’ buttons to avoid loading screens; buying items in mass, etc.
Also, weird bug maybe, but it’s also faster to do battle quests on mobile too. For whatever reason, the first two weapons and first scroll are always selected. Makes it quick to just zip past the lower tier opponents.
Downside is, it’s also very easy to accidentally buy items. Since you need to long-press an item to read its descriptions, if you do this in someone’s shop, you’ll end up buying the item! I wasted several mil doing this lol. Now, I avoid browsing user shops on mobile.
This is actually a setting you choose, but the site remembers it by the browser you use, you can add the same setting to your desktop too!
Start any battle using "Choose Weapons", and below the images of your eligible to battle pets, you will see Preselection is currently ON/OFF
Preselection is great, you can drag and drop the order of your scrolls and weapons to optimise pre-selection to make battling a breeze.

OMG thank you. And here I thought it was just some fortunate glitch! I was dragging my feet doing all my BQs, cause I hated all the button clicking lol.
I spent so long buying items from Fine Fabrics one at a time before I accidentally figured out that you can queue up 5 items at a time. A small thing but really sped up the process for me!!
Also good to know about the snowballs! I hate throwing snowballs so maybe that'll help me out
How do you queue items? That sounds awesome! Also I enjoyed your suggestion for Survival 2022. Was this what you were thinking of for the pose?
My wish I knew sooner is also something I was just looking for a way to share because I want others to join. I wish I knew that you can make suggestions for items that are created for the holidays. Almost every holiday someone will create a thread up to three months before it begins to give people a place to share suggestions with the SubetaTeam. I'm not sure I've ever seen them post but we know they look at the current year and the year priors suggestions because they have made things that were requested on many occasions.
I just recently started the next one for Survival and it would be awesome to get your ideas. I always have so many ideas but then I see others ideas and I'm not sure what I want most sometimes. ">Survival 2024 Suggestions
So I didn't know this shop existed and now I've spent so much queuing things up. Thanks so much!
That's really cool that they take suggestions! I had no idea.

I first found out years ago and since then it has been so exciting to others ideas as well as my own come to life. Its not always exactly what I envisioned in my mind but sometimes its even better. The item I mentioned in my first post was requested by multiple people. I don't think any of the requests was super specific but the result was still so cool. One year I remember I asked for wet hair for Keel Haul. We only had one that I could find at the time and I just wanted more options for creating an HA in the rain. They released these
I was so happy to find your thread because its a great idea but also because I wanted to find a way to get more people involved sharing ideas for holidays. :) Hopefully both threads stay lively.
You just keep buying items! You can pick up to five at a time. I'll be honest I don't remember what my suggestion was 😅 But I do love that item! I'm using it for my next HA I think
it's a hidden gem! I stumbled across it looking for more items to get the filled wardrobe achievement
I wouldn't have noticed either except I look back to see the old requests a repeat the ones I really like. When I did I noticed your HA above mine and remembered the item.
