I was chatting about pet sites with a buddy of mine, and Subeta came up- I realized that I probably haven't stepped foot in here for over a decade. How's it goin? Life's been chaotic, huh?

I've spent a few days getting re-acclimated: made some new pets (still love this art) decorated my lumi tree fiddled with the new wardrobe and finally got into the dang Blue Building

It's so nostalgic, and I'm honestly so glad this site is still holding together well compared to other sites. So, now that I've been binging subeku and quests for a few nights, I'll try not to fall into my lurker tendencies. I haven't been here since I was a teen, so forgive me if I forget something!

I'm zebes, but I also go by Zazi. I'm in my late 20's, I walk like a velociraptor, and I love to draw creatures! Like my sig says, I'm a freelance artist. I draw a wide range of stuff, but I really love to get a little creepy with it. I'm a big fan of Metroid, as the username may suggest, and also stuff like Warframe and Godzilla. (Anyone know how to add/remove interests? Not to say Shadow the Hedgehog isn't still badass, but I'd love to update it) I have a vague list of subjects I enjoy talking people's ears off about on my profile, in case anyone's looking for new friends!

Has much changed since 2012-2013? I assume, like other pet sites, it's mostly inhabited by old/returning players?

Yeah, I removed the whole "interests" widget on my profile and replaced it with a custom field. Seems to work alright for what I was going for. I couldn't figure out how to update the contents of the old interests widget, so I improvised ^w^

Yeah I think the interests widget might be broken now? I don't exactly even remember how it worked before. I just use the profile block now for everything!

So do you have a specific part of the site you're most interested in? Customization? Collecting? Achievements?

I've been doing a little bit of everything! There was a lot of stuff I wasn't here for, or that I hadn't got to back in the day. I think my main focus has been avatar customization, training, and questing/sP earning lately. Eventually I might get to pet treasure collecting, or doing crafting stuff for fun. How about you?

I love working towards achievements and collecting beanbags and stuff. Right now I'm working towards the Richest User achievement which is super tough & I'm also working on the Filled Wardrobe one. I'm starting to think more about pets & treasure collections but it's not my top priority right now! I'm not always able to be super active on the site, some days I only have time to do the bathhouse. But I'm always around at least a little bit!
