I wish I could do this better. I have no clue how to hide the body parts sticking out or the clothes. I know I should know better. I know I have been here long enough. I am just not good at this and would appreciate assistance or clues.

When you go to your wardrobe, go to the base tab and from there you can toggle on and off various parts of avatar limbs. Just be sure to save your avatar once you've toggled off the limbs you want hidden.
