hiya! i recently got really back into pet sites, i've mostly been playing dappervolk but i thought i'd check out subeta again too and now i'm a lil bit obsessed. >_>
i definitely got used to the more low-key aspects of dappervolk where you eventually hit a point where you can't do anything else for the day, but subeta's not like that AT ALL and sometimes i'm overwhelmed for what to do. i've been using the dailies page religiously but other tips to prioritize whats actually useful/a good use of time/profitable versus what's not would be great!
i also... don't understand the collection boxes. if i bought one do i get all the items for that collection or is it random? what about if i buy an older collection box? ^^;
Welcome back!! It can be overwhelming. For me, I do my quests, and then I go through collections like plushie and beanbag to see if any can be bought cheaply to add to my collection. On each collection page there's a "What's missing?" link that shows you which you still have left to collect. That can be fun! Of course, that's spending money, not making money xD
Collection boxes you get to pick one item! Oftentimes one item transforms into another, though, so it's kind of like a two-for-one. It's not random, you're presented with all the items in the collection so you can choose. Older collections work the same way now, I do believe!
Welcome back! It's easy to get overwhelmed here, but rest assured that the staff have been on record that no item is retired forever. There are always going to be opportunities later as long as the site is still around haha.
For making sure your time spent is profitable, I'd recommend questing over anything else. I have a hierarchy, which I go down the list until I'm tired of doing quests: Shinwa Wizard Saggi Quentin Blue Building Library
Doing all quests is good but if I get those top two done every day I rest easy. Do as many quests as you can, put all that junk you get in your shop, and autoprice while you have a gold account. That's the primo money-making play cycle. You can make several million sP a day doing that, even when you're not sure what your other goals are at the moment. When a holiday or event pops up you can add that to your daily activities, but we're in between events right now.
Thank you both, this is really helpful! I wasn't sure which quests to prioritize because somedays I don't have it in me for all of them so that's great info. ❤️
My hierarchy is slightly different! I do:
Shinwa Library Saggi Quentin Wizard Carl Pete Major Drills if I have it in me :D
I'd kill to have more people talk about their quest hierarchy! taking notes :P
I have a question, are the only dailies in Subeta quests? Or are there other things to do as dailies?
Lots of things around the site reset every 24 hours, so you'll probably find a few games around that you enjoy on a daily basis. Here are two more that I'd say count as actual dailies:
Bathhouse - the longer your streak, the better the rewards Ruffie Raffle - other carnival games you can play multiple times a day!
Otherwise, poke around the dailies page and the games page and see what you can find. A lot of them can be played daily or multiple times a day, though many of them don't have a strict payout like quests, ruffie raffle etc.
Welcome back!
There's a thread in General Discussion where users discuss their questing order Order of Importance for Quests and some of the reasoning behind it

sorry for the late reply! but thank you for the links and great ideas about questing! i was doing shinwa -> blue -> alphabetical which meant i was tending to miss sagitarrius and the wizard most days lol.
Oh, don't forget item hunt! The sP awarded is pretty low on the early levels but in the middle levels, it's quite profitable. You can watch the trend as the rewards increase to decide whether or not the next quest is worth it. If something is too expensive, just quit and start again! Beating item hunt is a crazy conquest xD I just get up to the 70s/80s usually, sometimes lower, and then quit and start again.
