I love the idea of a piece of media being so powerful that it truly shapes someone. Undeniably, there have just been things that I've seen that have immediately, in a goofy way, "changed my brain chemistry." One being Grey's Anatomy (thankful for the queer rep, even if it was bad) and another being Wet Hot American Summer. What are some things that had such an impact on you that it goes past just a favorite?
Oh god, so many. Sooo so many. Unfortunately one of my absolute favorites growing up was The 100 (RIP Clexa but kind of long live Clexa?), though in hindsight it was even worse than my teenage self gave it credit for. Honorable mentions to The Prince of Egypt and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri as well.
I was on tumblr in the same era that Clexa was big, so I was exposed to them - I totally don't blame you. That's how I feel about Grey's though - super happy for the representation at the time but wow - kinda very bad looking back, lol.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is such a good movie. 2017 was such a solid year for movies (s/o to Margot Robbin in I, Tonya).
Harry Potter stand up to anyone, loyalty, friendship,
Million dollar baby never ever give up.
I wish I could go back in time..
I credit nearly my entire sense of humor to Arrested Development, Futurama, and most things on Adult Swim back in 2004.

disney's robin hood and the great mouse detective made me a furry
banner by Definitely a show called Legend of the Seeker. Hands down the best fantasy show to ever be made. The only others that have come close in my opinion are The Wheel of Time and Merlin.

Starman, no human can love that way. That's why mine make no effort. Mine always felt Ms Sinister is Not of this Earth...
The Wuzzles, also made mine a furry (and plus size fan.). Adding to the reasons to not try. Reality sucks...
Soldier, and Universal Soldier gave a basis for mine fursona Vioran Soldier.
And The Point, showing mine to embrace being different. Especially when being authentic leaves you completely alone.
I'd say Aliens. I just loved how strong minded Ripley was. My mom always taught me not to take any bull but wasn't a good example. Ripley was. Also Tomb Raider. Any strong female character, especially one that was quick witted. LOL I can be very sarcastic and have a good sense of humor.
Also super hyped to see Alien at the movies for the first time. Anyone else seeing it for the anniversary? <3
Sailor Moon was one of the first fandoms my mom and i bonded over :’) she loved it (and still does!) just as much as 4 year old oreo did and we used to watch it together all the time c: we used to collect all the dolls and merch, too! I had everything sailor moon themed as a kid that i could ever want in part due to her haha c:
There are a lot of them... Avatar the last airbender is so good, and I'm still watching it! I can always watch the big bang theory and enjoy myself. They are nerds but sometimes it feels like they are my friends as well :D Kimi no na wa/your name is the best anime movie in my opinion. Nothing I've seen till now is as good as this one. Harry Potter for the nostalgia, I would say its till now my favorite fantasy book series, except for the last book/ending which I didn't like. It's a childish ending for a timeless book series. Looking forward to enjoy more fantasy series in the future. I will keep my eyes out for a good one I enjoy
