overall i haven't had much of an issue using the site on mobile, though some changes to make it more mobile-friendly overall would help (i don't have any specific feedback on the site layout, though; not the issue i'm posting about). however, i've noticed while trying to manage my items (delete things, add them to collections, etc), if you press an option, it goes through automatically. even for options like delete and add to collection that have a confirmation pop-up, it doesn't wait for the confirmation. i tried to send an item to a friend and accidentally hit delete, and even though i hit cancel, the deletion went through and i ended up back on my inventory page with the item no longer in my inventory. not a huge deal since it was a cheap item, but it could lead to some unfortunate mistakes. i would recommend not trying to manage your inventory on mobile if you've got anything you don't want to accidentally lose!

I actually just went onto mobile to see what would happen if I tried to donate something, and the "Are you sure?" popup did indeed display itself (as it does on desktop). I'm wondering if you encountered a glitch or otherwise have some kind of pop-up blocker/setting on your mobile browser that's preventing the confirmation pop up from working.

I’ve had this happen on mobile with every confirmation pop-up, including changing a pet into a Bumbus and quitting quests, so it’s not just the inventory.

the pop-up did show up, it just didn't matter if i pressed cancel or not, the interaction happened anyway. that's part of why i was confused :P but i do wonder if it's maybe specific to certain phone brands, given what QueenSpazzy said?

i use firefox too, but i do have an iPhone which might make the difference. i suppose i could try a different browser, but given we have different phones/OSes, i wonder if that's more the issue than the browser

what phone/OS do you use? i'm on an iPhone SE, i think it's 1st gen

I use Firefox on an iPhone 8 with iOS version 16.3.1. The glitch still happened when I tried turning off the setting to block pop-up windows and donated an item.

Just now I tried donating an item on Safari and the confirmation pop-up worked so it might just be Firefox for iOS.

So now that you mentioned that, I tested again by going to donate an item and cancelling it. I found that it DOES still work appropriately for me. No issues. However, looking at QS's post, I ALSO have a Motorola phone, so that seems to be plus 2 for the Motorolas working with subeta confirmation. Interesting!

It does look to be on Firefox's end. I'm on an iphone 13 ios version 16.6 and just downloaded Firefox.

Tested and the confirmation box popped up and the item was immediately donated without me doing anything else.

I tested it on Chrome and Brave (that's my default browser to access subeta on my phone) and both worked correctly.

forgot to follow up but thanks for the troubleshooting everyone :P i'm considering opening a help ticket about it in case it's an easy fix, but i'm sure staff has other things to worry about that might be a little more pressing. using a different browser is a pretty easy workaround, at least

9/17/23 edit: seems like it isn't an issue for me anymore? not sure if it was an iOS update, firefox update, or bug fix on subeta's end, but the confirmation pop-up seems to work like normal now

I haven’t had this specific problem, but the thing that plagues me to this day is the lack of item previews, both in other user’s shops and my inventory.

My inventory is annoying enough, but I really can’t browse other’s shop, like, at all anymore.

If I so much as touch an item icon, however quickly or lightly, whoops! I just bought it. The only time that doesn’t happen are the CSC items. That I get the popup for. SP items? No, not so much.

Ended up acquiring the newest Eddie leggings that way. One or two days after release. Soooo expensive lol.
