I am looking for a good pair of headphones that don't cost more than $50. I don't need anything that sounds like a movie theater. I would just like the sound to be natural without tin or thudding. I would rather have a neutral sound coming through than have highs and lows that are abrasive. I do prefer there to be surround (or at the very least sound in both ears) and I am looking for noise isolation. Noise cancelation im on the fence with, as sometimes it just disorients me. A noise-canceling mic would be nice. I also love the flip up mics so you know they're off.
Okay.... here is the breakdown in order of importance
Ultimately I would like to be able to block out noise so I can focus and use it between my PC, Nintendo Switch, and Cellphone (that has no audio jack)
Any advice is appreciated even if they don't meet all needs here. If there is something over $50 that should be my future goal, I'm interested too. Thanks all!
I know this isn't quite what you are looking for, but I really like Sennheisers. My husband has this set and they are incredibly comfortable. They are a bit over your price range, but they do have a built in microphone, and you can get an adaptor to use them with your switch, they just aren't bluetooth.
If you're looking for a non-electronic option, Loops are fantastic. Electronic speaking, I would highly recommend Skullcandy Hesh 2s. They've been my go to headphones for over a decade easily, true to life sound, no metallic thuds or pings in them, but the latency with them vs newer tech (my Roku TV for example) is noticeable, but I'm a gamer that relies on those couple milliseconds. They're also stupidly comfy even if you have multiple piercings like I do.

Thank you both! I never thought about getting straight up earplugs I think because I usually self sooth with some sort of noise but those loops might come in handy for doing surveys. Eivor the no thuds or pings is huge for me. Thank you. Aynjell, how are they at noise isolation?
Well to hear me he has to take them off xD. So I'm assuming pretty good. I also have a pair of Sennheiser's, but mine are the Special Edition 360's which are no longer in production (they have fantastic noise isolation).
Personally I cannot wear earbuds because of my tinnitus so I need over the ear headphones for everything. I plan on grabbing the Raycon Fitness headphones at some point Click here for them all.. But since I haven't tried them out yet, I can't say whether they are good or not (they also seem to have a gaming headset)
