I didn't see an active thread about this here, so I wanted to make one about one of my favorite game genres: Point & Click!
There are a lot of Point & Click games out there, some more famous than others. Some of my personal favorites are:
What are some Point & Click games or series that you love?
My favourite is Grim Fandango. Pretty old game, but it did get a remastered version in 2015. I love games that fall into the Noir category.

I've heard of Grim Fandango, but I've never played it! Maybe it's time to see if I can get it on Steam.
I donโt know if The Suicide of Rachel Foster or the Enigmatis games count as point and click but I love anything with a mystery that can be played in 1-2 sessions.
I tried revisiting Myst a little while ago but it was the Switch port and the controls were a little wonky.
Thanks for mentioning the Nancy Drew series! Adding it to my list. xD

I think Hidden Object Games like the Enigmatis series could count as Point & Click too, because they do have the element of having to click to move around and interact with things. I'm not sure about the other game you mentioned; I haven't seen much of it myself.
Oh, Myst is a good game! It's a shame that the controls on the Switch aren't as good as on the pc.
Thimbleweed Park was great. It's sort of a newer one but the guy who made Monkey Island worked on it.
growing up my mom was a huge sierra fan so I've played a lot of games by them, but only a few by other companies.
interestingly enough, one of my favorites from back in the day wasn't sierra, but lucasarts i think. Full Throttle. good puzzles for the most part, and the motorcycle combat was super fun.
on the more modern side of things, Unavowed is a really good supernatural detective story. i liked it quite a lot, nd will probably play through it again sometime soonish.
