Hi everyone, long time no see. I've been on hiatus for a bit but have been missing Subeta lately, so I came back to see what's going on. I have such fond memories here both as a player and working on staff. <3

Not sure how many remember me, but I thought I'd post a little Bug update for anyone who does and might like to reconnect.

It's been a really big year for me. Working at Subeta was so much fun, but the salary I have at my new job has opened a lot of doors for me that I never had before. For one thing, I was able to buy a cute little house to be my Bug Base here in Rochester, NY. It's a small house but perfectly Bug-sized, and in a location with a lot of restaurants and businesses within walking distance which is great for me.

I've also been reconnecting a lot with my love of music. I've been learning how to improvise and compose music on the piano. I've also been playing marimba as part of a Zimbabwean marimba ensemble, which is so much fun. The music is so lively and upbeat, it always makes me feel good to play.

My health has been better than ever too - this year, I actually got a sleep apnea diagnosis and started using a CPAP machine. That took some getting used to, but oh man, I can actually sleep now.

Finally, I started seeing a really cute guy :) who makes me feel like a loved and lucky Bug.

Congratulations on your new house and reaching that milestone! I've been in mine for a couple months and there is nothing quite like home ownership. It's a lot of new responsibilities (snow shoveling! mowing the lawn!) but I enjoy having my own little Bug Base to take care of.

Aww Mozart is nice. I compose classical pieces, usually ones that sound a little wistful or pensive because that's just my style :)
