You know that this could be a bit too disturbing for some people, and I am too scared to talk about it because I am worried someone could get offended, but welp, I am already talking about it so guess I could explain. Warning: Incase if you are offended by this kind of content, you don't have to read it.

Over the years, YouTube had various controversies. Of course 2018 was a terrible year for YouTube. Probably one of the most infamous controversies was Elsagate. This is a phenomenon involving these weird kids videos on the site featuring characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Minions, Spiderman, and most prominently, Elsa from the 2013 Disney animated film, Frozen, in these weird scenarios that may be too inappropriate for kids, which I am not even going to show for obvious reasons. These videos range from cheaply animated, live action, or even stop motion, all featuring those same graphic themes with these same movie characters. When those videos became main stream, there was tones and tones of outrage surrounding these videos, and so luckily, YouTube took action and banned those channels posting this content and becoming more strict when it comes to YouTube Kids content. Luckily it seems that type of content disappeared, kind of like a snail retreating back into its shell, but more disgusting. However, it did manage to make a comeback.

Today, rather than all of those Disney and Marvel characters, children seem to be into a few prominent video games, those being, Minecraft, Among Us, Friday Night Funkin', and most notably, Poppy Playtime, more specifically, the main antagonist of game's first chapter, Huggy Wuggy. (I'd also include Poppy Playtime's knockoffs, such as Rainbow Friends and Garten of BanBan) These games seem to be quite exploded by individuals in the YouTube Kids community. Other mature stuff with those sorts of innocent looking characters used include Squid Game, Learning with Pibby, and Alphabet Lore. Similar to what happened before, these are stuff that I am not going to show for obvious reasons, but you get the idea, those same graphic themes mixed with those characters, marketed towards children. I am not going to say more, but trust me, this rabbit hole goes deep. When I say deep, I mean, really, REALLY deep. I've watched a few videos on this topic, so trust me.

I remember watching those videos as a kid (not the Elsagate ones, but the poorly animated ones with innocent topics).

I believe that we could probably report or ban them if we want this to stop.

I think youtube takes child safety seriously so making sure to report these videos is the best thing we can do and also watching youtube with your kids and not letting them watch unsupervised its not a perfect solution but :/
