hi!! i created my account last night, and i decided i'd make an intro post. my name is venezie. i've loved pet sites for a long time and i've had my eye on this one for awhile. it's nice to finally check out the scene!! does anyone have any tips for a newbie? and are there any guides i should check out and essentials i should know?

some questions i have: how can i edit my name/gender and forum signature on my profile? how do i get cs or rarer items (if there are other ways that aren't buying them), and where are some good places to get CSS themes? what are some dailies i can do? i know there's a page for dailies, but is there anything else i can do on the site everyday (i.e some goals i can.work towards?)

all right! i'll use pictures because explaining with words might make it less understandable from me.

first, you go to the dashboard option, which takes you to a page for information about your account (username, user id, name, etc). above all of that, there will be links (shown here in orange, i use a custom dark theme because i get migraines, don't worry if yours doesn't look exactly the same). since you're looking for two tabs, i've highlighted the two you're looking for in red.

if you select profile, it should take you to a page that looks like this:

from here, you can choose gender, change your name, and add css to your about section as you please. and, as far as i'm aware no one else can see your email, so no worries about that! i believe it's only there so you can change it if you need? but for the forums it's the same process, but you don't need css—i suggest looking at the sCode page for reference there!!

i hope this was clearer than my first explanation and it doesn't seem like i'm talking down to you or anything!! sometimes i come across that way so if i did, i'm genuinely sorry!!

I have a love for Lilies and hydrangeas! But don't worry about sending me any. I like seeing the new players getting their achievements.

There’s an event on Subeta going on right now called Vesnali. You may notice on pages while you’re browsing the site that flowers appear in the top left corner of the screen. Click on them and they’ll appear in your inventory.

The flowers are supposed to be gifted to other users, and when you do, you’ll get Vesnali Coins, the holiday’s currency. These coins can be used to purchase items in Esther’s Shop. The shop is open all year round, but Vesnali is the only time we can collect the Vesnali Coins for free.

Some users will have “Flower (their username)” in their forum signatures, like I do. You can click on that link to flower a user. When a user flowers you, you’ll get an event off to the left in your sidebar and it will tell you how many Vesnali Coins you received from that person flowering you. It pays to flower people & it pays to be flowered!

Most users specifically looking to be flowered go to the Vesnali Forums, which are only active during the holiday and for a few days after it ends, where you can find “Flower the User Above”, (where you make a post and then give a single flower to the person who posted above you), and other types of similar boards.

Questing is going to be your main source of income, and certain quests right now are giving flowers for rewards.

Helpful Links: Esther’s Shop Vesnali Forums Cinthia’s Quests (these are the quests I know for sure gift Vesnali flowers right now) Sarah’s Quests ^ specifically for newbies—if you exceed a certain number of sP you won’t be able to do them anymore, but you will open up Sagittarius’s quests, which cost a decent chunk of sP to complete but reward a decent amount too. I would make sure you have at least 900k before doing his quests. If you fall under his threshold, I don’t think it will let you complete it even if you have the items. (It’s been a long time since I had this happen so I may be wrong! But I would still play it safe.)
