Does the owner of the site here have "inactivity periods" or is he this inactive all the time?
On Marapets, the site owner DOES take long breaks, but him coming back means him having frequent chatting sessions and fixes for things that managed to get broken in the meanwhile. Sometimes, also new features or games.
It seems like Subeta's owner hasn't posted in about a year, is he usually more active?
Keith is active but he's been running this site since he was 14. He's allowed to take breaks every now and then. Plus the server has a bunch of mods and admins that do a lot of behind the scenes work that is extremely valuable.
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
Keith's latest forum posts are as recently as late January this year; he usually pops in during technical problems with the site to help troubleshoot and work on urgent fixes He's generally pretty busy because he has a full-time job besides Subeta; his sister is the staff member who's more involved with the day-to-day runnings onsite.
is the site owner. According to his account, he was last spotted a week ago, and was posting and talking to users on the forums in January of this year. He would obviously have access to the SubetaTeam account too, so I wouldn't doubt he is sometimes checking in on the site from there, as well. He certainly is not "inactive all the time."
I still believe that SubetaTeam is a bot... There's no way an actual human is writing all these daily updates. Maybe once in a while for important announcements, but not for all messages. Mara's news entries are all automatically posted until there's an actual new update, in which case those are manually written.
Posts like the pet spotlight winners and WSQ are automated but other posts by SubetaTeam are written by staff (I think usually )
what are you talking about? certain posts are automated like weekend quests & pet spotlight (when the chron works properly, that is) but event announcements, pet & item releases, etc all have to be written by someone. who would be writing them if not an "actual human"?
the staffers are doing their best to make sure everything is running smoothly. If there were any big issues I'm sure we'd hear from Keith. He's only one guy, and he's got a lot on his plate.
yeah, there's a test subeta site that is used as dev work but i can confirm, subetateam does have have a human behind it, different petsites work in different ways
The majority of 's posts are actually done by real people, not automated.
Just because you don't see Keith doesn't mean he isn't around or working on the site. He just doesn't talk much outside of big announcements or trouble shooting these days. He has other Staff members like go between us and him too, and they reach him in ways we can't.
