i have a question about this item. those have any kind of restriction? In the Faq just said "i can get any pet colour available on the site ". but don't said nothing about the experiment pets. i can use the totem for get me an specific experiment or is random ? tried whit the zapper and wasted 15 m sp on Experimental dew and no luck.

Experiments are pretty much species of their own in a way because they have both Common and Chibi colors, so you can't turn a pet into an Experiment through a totem. You can only change a pet's color with it.

EDIT: Seeing how the Dews cost that much now, I think you may have a better luck using the Pet Zapper v2 in Darkside. There's an option there that costs 400k + 15 Wizard Tokens for a random but guaranteed experiment

the miracle potion ii (available in the cash shop for 1000 CSC) allows you to instantly change a pet to any species of your choice, including experiment species. obviously this is much pricier than the guaranteed experiment option (1000 CSC is equivalent to about 90mil sP), but it's an option nonetheless.
