I couldn't find an answer so I'm hoping someone can answer my question!

I received a LOVELY generous gift and I'm not sure how to, if possible see which friend sent it? So I can thank them? D: <3

how was it sent? through the inventory "send to a friend" option (it would just appear in your inventory alongside a sidebar notification) or through the gift center?

if it's the latter, you can check your history of received gifts to see who sent it, unless they sent it anonymously.

if it's the former, i don't think there's any way to see who sent it once the sidebar event is gone.

i just sent you something to test if the event even tells you who sent the item in the first place, so let me know the result of that.

Oh man it has zero history in the received gifts link so that’s strange, nothing in my events either. Ugh hahaha. Thank you for all your help though!

Edit: I didn’t know about the gift center and I did have an unopened gift from last month, thanks for helping me find that 🥺❤️

@ MintySam i could totally be misremembering that sending someone a gift through the inventory triggers a notification. i don't even know if people really use that option anymore, tbh.

[edit] just confirming that yes, you do receive a sidebar notification (including username) when someone sends you a gift through the inventory "send to a friend" option.

It must be anonymous that way, unless I’m missing something! Hopefully an admin see this post and clears it up, I still want to know 😆
