How do splatfests work on subeta though?

Sorry I'm not sure I understand you, there is no upcoming "Splatfest" on Subeta, I had presumed you were referring to the video game 'Splatfest'

Is it going to be moved back? I don't know how do fests on Subeta work and wanted to ask for clarification.

No such thing as a Splatfest on Subeta. Although some might argue that snowball throwing with the snowtapult qualifies. Survival, the one currently coming up, is a love and zombies themed event. You can "kiss" other users for candy hearts that can be fed to pets, or used as currency in the L'Amour Parlour. There is also the VIP (volunteer infection program) where you can sign up to join the ranks of the unliving, and unlock those zombie skins in your wardrobe. other users will "bite" you to get the infection rolling. It takes about a week for most strains to progress to completion, then you can bite others for achievements and fun, or remove the unlocked skin and go for another strain. I recommend joining NVLB group (No victim left behind) to help get the zombie skins you want as quickly and cheaply as possible.
