Hello everyone. I am returning to Subeta after (two years, ish?) and just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My name is Anna, and I'm 26. Going through a big change in work and realizing that I'm drawn to Subeta's bliss whenever things get stressful in life. I found Subeta four years ago through an online friend and it's had a piece of my heart ever since. Upon returning I reread the rules & collected some loyalty boxes and have been doing all my quests every day this week! As a returning player, I'm noticing some changes and I have so many questions but unsure what forums to categorize them in. Ideally, I would love to be adopted by a member (or several) of the community who is open to possibly silly questions, discussion and reminiscing. I never really did make friends/learn the ropes with holidays etc. back in the day but I am open to all of that. (:

Current goals and things I am struggling with: Unlocking the Blue Building, remembering why I was training my pet (lol), trying to figure out what Quentin's amulets did because I forgot, wondering what happened to shout-box & wondering if the feature where when you quest and shop search suddenly stopped alerting to things stored in Vault?

Any help is adored and appreciated.

Take the amulets to the Mage in Shadowglen and try for a chance at a Tome which is a stat boosting item / book. Or you can sell them. (The amulets i mean)

Welcome back! Survival event should be starting this week coming up, more than likely.

Also if you want to see if an item is on your account, if you hover over the item you can use the account search link.

Or if you know the name of the item, hover over "personal" tab and use the link to account search.

I appreciate the information about the Tomes. I am starting to remember them now. I have been selling the amulets but I remember stockpiling them back then and I knew they had another purpose!

Excited for Survival, I don't believe I've been around for that one much.

As for the account search feature, I'm aware of that but prior to my disappearance I had a vault category labeled "quest bulk" and I recall when searching for an item having the option to move from Vault if that item was owned. This time around I noticed I was only able to move from shops, so I ended up moving my quest bulk to my shop so I could be reminded when I owned an item that was asked for by a quest. I'm just wondering if my memory is failing or if they revamped that at some point in time. (Perhaps back then I always took the time to account search before shop searching for quests, but I don't remember possessing that kind of thoroughness and patience)

I tried troubleshooting the vault move thing, i was able to confirm it is definitely not working for me considering I had a quest for a book and it was prompting me to buy from shops, yet I had 5 of them in vault. Unsure why it is happening, not too much of a hassle, I just wanted to know for sanity's sake that I wasn't imagining/dreaming that up.

The quest link takes you to shop search, which is not the same as account search. Perhaps you are mixing up the links?

If you wanted to account search for a quest, you'd have to hover on the item and click account search, and not the shop search button.

You are most likely 100 percent right, It's a big possibility that way back then I solely used account search to do quests and then clicked over to shop search.

I think for now to save time I'm just going to continue adding everything into shop and using it as an end all fail safe, because I don't always have the time to be so thorough. (I usually get home by 1am and rush to finish all my quests before passing out.)

Having them in your shop is handy, plus you can also sell spares and get money haha

I hit the cap for individual shop items so that method wouldn't work for me :')

I wouldn't know about the shop thing but I do know it's good to see you coming back. Means more people to interact with and have fun with!
