So I color in coloring book, read books regular and manga/graphic novels.. I also started doing jigsaw puzzles. Ive been looking for solo games..(non electronic) I just don't like buying game systems cause they go out of date then they stop making games for them.. SO ive been looking for board/card games. I heard of three sisters its a game played with dice..but it sounds kinda complicated.. (I have some learning disabilities). I do play 2 games on my tablet but I don't like downloading to it cause im not sure how much memory it has. I do have a a memory chip in it. I do not store photos or videos in it. maybe when I get a better tablet I will play more games on it.

Currently reading Sakura Hime, the Legend of Princess Sakura. Ive been borrowing this from the library it's 12 volumes long im on volume 6. I did goof and buy fruits basket volume 2 from my library it was cheap..problem is it's not in English.. did not notice this when I picked it up. So guess I will be trying find out what language it is and trying to sell it. Ive read the English fruits basket volume 2.

heard of the game wingspan it looks interesting..not sure how hard it is to play..

Hi ^^ I read and enjoy puzzles and actual physical games. For puzzles I highly recommend Galison brand, they have a satisfying click-in-place feel and they're high quality. I'm super picky about puzzle piece quality. Do you have any recommendations? A game my partner and I have been playing recently is a strategy card game called "Too Many Poops" - lol, basically you try to saddle your opponents with a bunch of cats from dueling litters and the more dueling cats you send to their litter, the more poops accumulate in their litter box, if you accumulate 10 poops you lose. It's very entertaining and surprisingly strategic and engaging. We've tried a couple of duds lately too. Namely, the Tetris stacking game that came out was boring with unclear instructions, and a card game called Rook that was simply made for playing with larger groups... that's the main struggle we run into, finding games that are fun and engaging if only two people are playing.

sorry for the late reply.. just now seen your post I do springbok puzzles and others but springbok has a missing piece guarantee. If there is a piece missing they will make it right. There pieces are very interestingly shaped. not your everyday piece shapes. One brand ive noticed that has issues is surelox.. Ive been getting pieces that are not cut entirely through so there stuck together.

I just ordered my 1st solo game called dollars to donuts. It can be played solo or with 2 people. Ive never played tetris or rook.. I used to play uno but that was many years ago.. (when I had someone to play it with.)

update Just tried tetris online and I dont get it either..

I love adult coloring! I have Johanna Basford’s Secret Garden that I use to practice coloring techniques in. I recently completed my Polychromos set (bought open stock for 2 years lol) and trying to learn how to use them :)

Yup, they can be. I like that, though. I concentrate on them, it’s very therapeutic for my ptsd. Especially when I learning techniques like layering and blending.

Do you have any suggestions for simpler books? I know Kirby Rosanes books are even busier than Johanna Basford’s books lol

Haven’t heard of the books you mention so I’ll check them out.

I have about 40-45 prismacolors. They are sooo smooth. Really like them. Wish they didn’t break so often, though. Unfortunately, they are not available to buy where I live and getting them shipped is very expensive. Faber Castell is available here so I bought Polychromos. My kids got me the full Faber Castell Black Edition set but they break very easily too. Almost as smooth as prismacolors but prismacolor are still better in blendability.

jade summer, ava browne (I have a fairy book of hers),hannah lynn has a book for beginners its called "--Fairy Tale Princesses & Storybook Darlings Coloring Book For Beginners" I own this one.

One thing ive learned with pencils the sharpener you use does matter.. I was using cheap dollar store ones but my pencils kept breaking.. I did some research and found out the "DAHLEE 133 pencil sharpener" is better for my pencils. Ive not had one break in months.. I found the sharpener online. how I knew which one was best for me I looked up videos on pencil sharpeners for prismacolor pencils.

You folks wouldn't happen to know some coloring books that could stand up to watercolor do you? I've been wanting to try some to improve my watercolor skills without having to make something myself but I'm not sure where to start

Also random hack if you have time: I'm broke as a joke but I have gotten a ton of prismacolors from thrift stores and garage sales really cheap, same with some other art supplies

Oh I might know of something actually, I'll have to give it a shot when I can get some but a layer of clear gesso might work.
