Currently, there's a lot of posts over there which have titles edited to some variation of "RESOLVED - To be locked". A staff member has to manually view those posts and lock them.

Now, if most of the threads that are posted there are just questions and there's no need for any further discussion once they're answered, why not add a self-lock feature?

Basically, self-locking would only work one way - once a question is locked because it has been answered, it's final and the lock cannot be undone.

This would finally utilize the unused "Lock post" button that is not available for non-staff, yet is somehow still shown.
