literally about to come here to post the same thing. Most recent update I saw was 2100 dead... there are going to be a lot more.... those poor people....

7.8 is a massive quake and the death toll has risen again. Recent news from CNN is putting it at over 3k currently in casualties.

The poor people, especially since there's on-going aftershocks currently due to the quake.

Additional edit in to add that current casualties from the quakes is sitting at 33k currently and likely to continue rising.

40k dead. this is gonna be one of the deadliest earthquakes this century.
