As we're wrapping up the New Years mini celebration on the site I'm looking forward to the other holidays coming this year. I've been away from Subeta for quite a few years so all the upcoming holidays will be brand new for my account but also nostalgic as I remember past celebrations and reminisce on items I remember from when I was previously active.

My favorite part of some holidays was when a whole event/storyline would occur to make the celebration even more interactive and fun.

I'm not sure what, if any, events took place last year but I was wondering if anyone else is looking forward to the possibilities 2023 has in store for the site?

Ecks sounds familiar, were they a zombie?

Yes. In that plot line, Ecks challenged Skitters for leadership. It was the year the Bakers Strain of zombie came out which I think was made by Ecks to get everyone to see the zombie point of view. Not much has been heard from Ecks since then.

Yes I remember that now, I was here for that plot. I think I had that strain too on that account. It would be super fun to delve deeper into the zombie lore on this site.

For sure. I'd love to see more of the Underground now that Ecks and Skitters have been working together. I'd also like to learn more about Kelvin Blackmoon. I know he hangs out on Atebus and has been planning something but not much else. Shinwa has been acting strange lately too.

I don't know if we'll ever find out if Liara was successful in her revenge or not, and what became of her if she wasn't, and also if Shinwa had to face any consequences for refusing to help.

There are a lot of unanswered questions about Liara. But I am glad we got a little more info on the Sacred Lands history. Plus it was nice to have another pet based character rather than a human style one. Maybe we'll learn more one day. It would be nice to learn more about Peka Glade and discover if the Sea Witch has done anything lately. I wonder if the islands have changed much since she left?

ive actually been wondering this for a while, is there a reference or log for the subeta storylines and character backgrounds? the subetapedia doesnt have much information about some characters or major plot points. i love the events so much that after not playing for a year, i usually come back around just in time for survival. it's always been my favorite event! but i would love to refresh my memory and hype myself up.

this just so happens to be my first post since disappearing last year lol jumping right in the water!

I ended up saving the links to the story pages in my favorites so I could revisit them. It works sometimes. I agree, it would be really nice to have a lore page with all the plots that have happened on Subeta. Then we could refresh our memories and new comers would have an explanation for why we have certain characters and events. Maybe we should make a thread with all the plot stories in as a basic reference point. Or does one exisit already?

someone actually reminded me that there's a wiki! definitely got some reading to do this week lol but it would be nice to have a reference on the forums as well
