Today is the first time in a long while where my spouse and I have been able to play the game at the same time, and they just opened their tree gifts from the last two years, so I'm sitting here doing New Years stuff while they go through every gift I sent them one at a time (spoilers it's going to take them forever lol) and laughing at all the fun items and cooing over all the cute items. I just wanted to thank all the staff and the players alike for this wonderful time spent with them; they work 5 days a week and we usually don't get a lot of time on their days off to spend just binking around like this, so to play a game we can both have fun on? Means a lot.

Its really nice. Came back from a long hiatus and i'm hooked again. The site feels like how the web used to be to me. Full of creatives, no algorithms. Just a labor of love and a community around that.

The staff are all busy, but despite everything its clear that they care

This is one board I wish would garner the response attention it deserves because Subeta truly is a one of a kind website. I know other virtual pet websites exist and they're fine, but they have never kept my attention and keep me coming back the way Subeta does. Like many others, my life gets hectic at certain points and Subeta falls to the wayside in the rotation of my hobbies and yet, it's the only website that I consistently try to make time for again and again.

The beautiful pet art, the carefully crafted lore, the wonderful characters, the wardrobe feature as a whole-- this place really does have a little something for everyone. Pet species are easy to obtain by and large as are potions and elixirs, the lab ray isn't locked behind a super expensive map, and probably my favorite thing about Subeta: most anything can be earned if you try. Questing may be boring but I still find it rewarding even after years of playing from the many events where retired items are given out alongside quest rewards to just stockpiling the sP from them to save up for something important.

The staff here are attentive and engaging unlike most other websites or companies, for that matter. I know Subeta is struggling, which does make me fearful of one day returning and the site be gone, but I try to cling onto every moment I have with this wonderful community. It fuels my creativity and I know it helps others in many different ways.

I know there will be hiccups and glitches and whatnot, but I thought I should take a little bit of time to praise the greatest pet site I've had the honor of playing.

seriously! so much beautiful artwork and writing, and it's never stopped coming, sooo many games and events! and I know "new subeta" is underway, but I love how subeta still looks and feels like mid-00's internet, at least for now. tough on mobile devices, but so slick and navigable on my laptop, which is really a rarity! and even though things are broken here and there, the MAJORITY of everything still works just as it always has <3

Subeta is definitely one of a kind. How many other petsites can boast of having members for 10, 12, 17 years ? The art, the hilarious descriptions of the items, the games, the PEOPLE and the thoughtful staff are just a couple of the reasons I love Subeta.

Well said! It takes dedication to run a site such as this and it's one of a kind. I've played for 14 years now and no sign of stopping now.

I'm guilty of complaining more than being grateful, but I really do like it here and appreciate all staff does to keep Subeta running.

It's also been really cool to see how, even though the art was really good back when I first joined (I immediately fell in love with the common Celinox), it's absolutely amazing now. And I love how there's a genuine effort to be more inclusive of different races, relationships, body types, gender identifications, and such among the NPCs - effort that I don't see in very many other places. Good on you, Subeta, and thank you :D

I honestly love this site more than words not just for all the amazing and creative content it provides for my entertainment, but for all the wonderful friends I have made because of it. Many of these incredible people are the bestest friends I have in my life. <3
