I hardly use smail - plus you have still not restored my missing folders!!!! Whatever.

I had to contact someone by smail, because they had no comments link on their profile.

When they responded, I only saw part of my message. I asked, if they had received all of it, but they hadn't and that questiion/response was again cut off.

Both were way less than 800 characters in length but cut off at maybe 200 characters. Nobody can send any somehow meaningful messages that short!

Have you asked them to resend it? I'm thinking it's likely that there was a character or broken code the sMail didn't like, causing it to cut off.

Theyr's arrived o.k., was shorter than mine, though. Mine was cut off, which I noticed, when they replied, because the original mail comes as an appendant. And my next reply was again cut off accordng to them.

Some symbols wipe mails. It is annoying. Umlaut (diacritic) 2 dots over a vowel like Mount Mürren Also the UK pound symbol £

ohhh, you might be right! We were writing in German! I supposed it was a timely thing and seemed fixed, lol. I recently used sMail again without problems, In English.

Problem now: apostrophs and hyphens all become question marks! also € and quotation marks.

The pound £ has bugged me for a long time. I'll have to try it again and see if it is fixed.
