Hey so I'm new here, and I have been trying to figure out how the stats in the battle function work. I read the faq, so I know that I can level up at the training center and increase my intelligence with books. I also know that certain events can lead to stat boosts. Is there a way to boost up health, strength, and defense permanently, or can you only boost those stats from the in game events?

The other main way of gaining stats is by defeating opponents. Beating them earns you experience points (EXP) which you can spend on stats in any combination that you’d like. You can also earn EXP daily by doing Battle Quests.

Easy opponents are for pets in Tier 1. They are listed first in the Battle Coliseum and can be found in levels 1-5 of Battle Quests. You can also find a quick list of easy/T1 opponents here.

You can also train all those stats in the training centre, once your level is high enough. If I remember right your level has to be half of whatever stat you want to train. Since new pets start at level 1 with 10 in everything else, you'd need to be level 5 before you can train anything except level.
