Hey I'm Paige. I'm in my 30's and I have played Neopets a lot in my childhood. I just found this site recently and it seems to be a more user-friendly alternative aimed at an older audience. I think I'll stick around for a while :)

Welcome to Subeta! We have a fair amount of Neopets expats here so you have a good amount of support. One major change here, probably, is that quests are generally profitable, so they're a really good way to get income when you're starting out c:

Hey, welcome! NP was cool ~20-25 years ago before the site became a bloated abomination to navigate. Subeta's in the process of switching some site stuff over right now, so you may notice some unusual errors here and there (especially when editing your HA in the Wardrobe), but it's temporary. Hope you stay for a while!

I'm turning 30 next week, it's nice to have plenty of people around the same age around~ Avatar sites were born when we were younger, so it's only fair that we have a site that isn't swimming with kids! Welcome! I am 27 (28 in March) and used to LOVE neopets in the 2000s. Learned coding that way lol
I find this site to be more grown up friendly without being.....gross? inappropriate? Its refreshing. I also enjoy the economy here vs neopets.

The economy is why I switched to Subeta from Neopets way back in...oh was it 2009? 2010? Its been a long time since I last logged into Neopets. You just couldn't ever seem to buy anything worth buying there, and it just kept getting worse and worse.
But the more mature player base has also been a great factor. There's an Adult Subeta Players group to join for some nice chill pet site hanging out, for example.
