I was 23, and I still am ahaha. I recently found out about this game because I was craving to play old browser games. I was a bit dissapointed when I found out that most of my childhood favorites games were in such bad states (like Neopets or Gaia) due to bad in-economy systems or nonexistent management. But thanks to reddit I found out someone recomended playing Subeta, and so far ive been super hooked. It's exactly like my childhood's fave games, but now the bad economy isnt eating me up and i dont have to worry about the money and having to be obligated to buy it through real life mediums if i wanted to progress somehow.

It was a plus when getting into the rabbit hole i discovered the game is very LGBTQ friendly, it made me feel super warm and happy.

So far im barely learning about everything i the lore, so im likely missing out on a lot of plot points, but i've fallen in love with characters such like Quentin and the lovely relationship Ian and Jaxon have❤️

I'm very curious to know about your experience getting into Subeta, and if you are a veteran, what has made you stay for so long!

I'm also super open to make new friends and chat a lot and trade stickers if you want!

I joined when I was 20 when a then friend group put me onto the site and then promptly booted me out of said friend group. I'm the only one who's still here after 13 years, to my knowledge.

I'm a nonbinary/trans (FtM) player and my avatar, of late, has been an outlet of sorts in expressing that since I can't really safely do so offline. I also snagged up the username because people are being... particularly annoying about it and I'm just like if you can't play nice.

I stuck around because I like the community for events, I like the events - Morostide and Masquerade particularly.

I was 19 and my friend told me about Subeta. I had just had a bad falling out with Neopets so I needed a new site to play on and well... here we are.

I love battling here, the site events, chatting, and well just loafing around!

I was like 12? But I was really into Neopets at the time so I was less likely to play on here as much as I did Neo- now I am much more impressed with Subeta!

I believe I was 15 or so, and was recommended by a friend on Neopets who I've since fallen out of touch with.

I was abooout.. 16? I was also just looking around for another thing like Neopets and I found Subeta. c: Been here on and off since despite not really having friends here because I don't talk much lmao. :c I should talk more but.. idk.

Holy hell! 13 years is a lot! I admire your persistence plently, hopefuly i happen to stay as much as you do! I'm also FtM! But I'm more leaned into being gender non conforming ftm, like i enjoy the femenine things and crossdressing femenine, but i'm a man despite it all. My avatar serves as my outlet to show my true color without fearing to be judged for not looking typically masculine when i'm trans. I didnt understood what you refer when you mentioned the username part?

Morostide was fun! I'm a bit regretful I wasn't able to enjoy it fully because I was getting used to all the new mechanic of the website in general etc ahaha, but i'm waiting for the next event!

I think I was about 13 or so. I remember being so intrigued by everything and everyone on the site back then. I am 25 now, and I still find myself coming back every so-often.

I was either 11/12 and my aunt recruited me by showing me how cool the pets were. I’ve been here just over 13 years now!

Mine joined in 2010, after seeing a banner on DA, that said "I play Neopets and Subeta". It showed a Red Bruce and a Sun Cybill. That got mine hooked, but mine took a long absence during a prolonged downtime. Zo in 2015, mine somehow remembered the password, and resumed.

Mine was 28 then, an have since gradually moved to the old obsolete model mine iz now.

I joined way way WAY back in 2004, my senior year of high school. I found it from good ol quizzilla when THAT was a fun site to use lol And then many horrible events in the system happened and caused a huge reset. I came back on and off over the years, I still kinda stray cat it.im glad we no longer do account clear outs so I haven't lost progress on anything.
I've seen so many site events and things change over the years. I'm basically a be nice to me I'll be nice to you type of person. I finished wardrobe out for a big achievement. Next is trying to thin it all out!

I started back in 2009, almost 14 yrs ago. I was on another site and a friend told me about this so I came over checked it out and bing bang boom here I am still today and I quit the other site that day. I won't tell you my age lol

I think I was 19. I recall being introduced to it by other people on the internet with an interest in virtual pet sites who felt a bit too "old" for Neopets and so on. I was pleasantly surprised to find a site like this full of people roughly my age. I've always loved cute cartoony animal characters (I grew up on classic cartoons and '80s/'90s platformers with cartoon animal protagonists) and was pleased to find a site and community that recognised that some of us will always love cartoon artwork, etc. no matter our age!

(Incidentally, I was in university as an animation student back then, so I guess that explains a thing or two.)

I just started playing at 25, but I've been on petsites since I was like 9. I liked the old school neopets vibe.

according to my profile stats ive had this account a little over 14 years, so i would've been 12 when i joined, in 2008.... i was looking for neopets alternatives so i joined marapets (apparently 15.5 years ago, so i stayed on there for a hot minute, obsessed with trading pets to collect an army of a certain kind i liked), and i believe from the forums there i heard of subeta.

i find of all of those type of sites, subeta has the best lore (especially with its representation within the npcs), and is constantly looking back and improving on things (including older art styles), and is also the most adult-friendly as its user base and staff have aged!

30(New here.) I grew up on neopets and played until Flash went down. I went to check it out a few days ago and was disappointed, so I started searching for neopet-like games. I've searched it before, but for some reason have never stumbled upon this site until now. I LOVE subeta so much.<3

I was 13, and I am now 25 (wow time flies). Much like many others I came from Neopets. I remember it being summer break, so I was hooked and playing nonstop.

Been here 16 years, started when I was 16. I started off on Neopets, and somehow found my way here I don't remember how. Liked this site better, forgot about Neopets and eventually my account(s) got hacked into and I was never able to get back on. Oh well.
