I hope everyone had a fun Morostide. I was able to enjoy some of it. I apologize for not wishing congrats and happy birthdays to last months users. It has been a rough month for me. My mom passed away on Oct 26th and we said our final good byes to her today. It was a difficult day (couple weeks actually) but I know she is now with my father and 2 of my brothers. She is also with her siblings etc. I hope she is having a wonderul time reuniting with them and happy that she is free of the alzheimer's/dementia

I'm so sorry for your loss! Dementia is such a cruel disease, though, so I'm glad you can take comfort knowing she is free from it now. <3

thank you, sweetie. It's been a difficult several years watching her mind deteriorate. She was such an independent and strong person. I'm glad we have a big enough family to have kept her home as long as we did.

and thank you! As you say, it was very fortunate your mother was able to stay at home as long as she did and she would've known she was dearly loved by her children. Thinking of you all the time dear friend. Love and hugs.

I imagine how picturesque it must be to live where you are. The mountains sound beautiful but your head cold sounds awful! I hope you're starting to feel better.

I'm travelling interstate tomorrow for my nieces 21st birthday. This particular celebration is just for the family and it's a high tea in the afternoon at a lovely historical hotel in Melbourne. I haven't been on a plane since before Covid so it's been a number of years! (I remember the process though :) ) Unfortunately we're flying in and out the same day because the airline company cancelled our flights. :(
