Not specifically using items from this year (because I don't have any yet, 'cause bad internet whines) but I'm sporting one of my old mermaid avatars for the occasion! :) I love yours! The tail and fins go so nice with that hair!

I had a pirate HA, but once I saw the new tricorn hats I had to switch to a royal navy outfit. I think it still suits the theme. This hat is the best and I love it! ❤

Whoa, the background layering you achieved is awesome. That matched with the hair, it looks like you are looting a ship that ran afoul of a storm.

I haven't felt incredibly inspired yet & I have been too lazy to sit in Freyalise to get the new items, but I threw a pirate hat on my HA, so I think it counts >:3c

I like how the avatar themes change over time. In recent years there's definitely been more merfolk/sea creature HAs.

I feel like I should do an islander one, a la Pirates vs. Islanders. :P
