Does anyone else find that their dashboard is broken ? I stopped receiving alerts or anything , maybe its just overloaded or something...

What do you have the sidebar options set to in your preferences? If it's set to Dashboard, you have to manually click the events tab to see your alerts (that's how mine is set, but my alerts do seem to be coming through fine). If you don't have a sidebar showing at all, you might need to click the Toggle Sidebar up near the clock to bring it back
