i'm doing good, i had a weirdly productive day but without it being exhausting. i noticed today that the weather here is starting to get spring-y which makes me a bit sad D:

ugh yes same here! i think that's why most of the nc left subeta, it's just so much more active over on neopets. it's a shame bc i think subeta deserves its players a lot more

Yeah it really does, the pets are so much cuter and im literally obsessed with the avatar customization options. lots of room for some really creative stuff. ngl the subeta layering system has spoiled me and now the neopets layering system for customs just doesnt hit the same. F

agreed!! i love how all the pets here are basically UCs and it's the best. the art is so beautiful ;~; yesss for sure, i found neo customisation kinda clunky and boring after having used subeta's version for a few months :')

i did not! :o i did stumble upon one she did for temporaltraveler of their pet marti mcfly. it was super good, didnt know it was hers at first bc the first time i saw it was years ago before i knew vivi.

omg i think it could work out with the digital art! i think a traditional art scan could have a nostalgic pet charm to it. but im also not the subeta ppl so who knows ;^; for my i just get nervous about my art, but also im not great with rendering still and i think they'd kick it back for not fitting the style. just need more practice and confidence i think. plus i dont really do full bodies, im best with headshots.

i think there's a copy of it on grubinns' neo petpage from what i remember! it's so cute, he's eating mudcake and holds the fork in his little tail nub ;~; and i don't think i've seen vivi's art of marti mcfly! :o i'll have to check that out if i ever return to neo haha

ahh i understand that feeling for sure. and knowing there's always a chance of kickback doesn't really help D: i hope you get some time to practice more and gain confidence! i find practicing can be really fun when you get in the swing of it (well, sometimes lol) and ugh yeah i get you, i used to be more of a head shots dude too. i'm still trying really hard to work on anatomy more for that reason :s anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do (or not do)!

omg that happens to me every time i zap a pet on here! i'm always going for something specific but then fall in love with a different zap :') i did get an experiment 699 zap once and was sooo close to keeping it bc it's such a cool design ;~; i really wish they had more colours available for the experiment pets, but i'm sure that's probably a work in progress already haha

oh duuuude you art is so fucking rad!! i absolutely love all the eyeballs and shapes in the first one. actually the two combined kinda remind me a tiny bit of the eye of providence (that's a compliment in case it wasn't obvious, bc i'm an edgelord and love symbolism lmao)

the bone guy is super awesome too, you must have so much patience to draw each lil bone and then the curvature too since he's kinda transparent :o he makes me think of halloween hissis 🐍

i was originally going for experiment 404 but then i got 866 and saw its silly little "imma getchu" look with the scribble version n i had to have it. scribble 104 is also very cute. but yeah i hope they come out with some other fun experiment colors. i think a reborn 866 would look super cool, especially with how its tail is already designed.

tysm ;-; im still trying to work on shading. pple say its good but its not exactly what i want as far as style, and also i spend like days overthinking the shading rkjofkklvmds. and yeah! i have a glowing hissi/halloween hissi cross paint thats very similar. i actually based the skull of that drawing of a salmon skull, and attached it to a snakelike body. the original pen drawing on paper had more details for the body but i decided to forego them in this version bc i didnt feel like going that hard on it kagmkladvsd.
