Ok so how do I start this.. First off I have 3 youtube channels.. 1st for product reviews, 2nd for reborn dolls(hand painted dolls I collect) and 3rd for coloring books. Well lets start with why I started doing youtube.. I have 0 friends in real life..I now 1 internet friend .I started with my review channel i got into product reviews (where I just review products I do not get paid). It started as a way for me to share my thoughts and opinions with others.. It also helped cut down on expenses cause sometimes I would get shaving razors,hair care products,ect.. Then I got into reborn dolls... I always liked dolls.. I have stopped buying reborn dolls (they cost to much for me) I however still change there clothes once in awhile. The dolls range from 300 and up in price..(us currency) unless your buying fakes or whats called boo boo's (mistake ones). I got mine when prices where not as bad.I started this channel to hopefully make friends and show my reborn dolls.. I made 1 friend (the artist of my first 3 reborns) the lady has passed away.. I kinda lost motivation to film anymore of the reborn dolls.. so I started the coloring channel where I show my finished coloring pages..

I kinda want to show my 2 collector barbie dolls one is a zodiac doll. However im not sure which channel to put this on..Im thinking the reborn doll channel..

I read regular books like "where my heart belongs" by Tracie Peterson, "the babysitters club" series by Ann m. martin,and "the girl who drank the moon" by Kelly barnhill. that's just to name a few.. I also read manga and am interested in graphic novels.. I seen w.i.t.c.h and I think Winx club are graphic novels.. Ive seen the shows and liked them so maybe I will like the books if I can find them. I like anime but haven't watched any for awhile..

Here is some important info.. I have mild cerebral palsy.. it does affect my speech sometimes.. I do have self confidence issues.. A lot of this is due to the fact I have a toxic relative that will not leave me alone... I have stress in my life do to a toxic relative. Im currently trying to recover from a hive breakout do to trauma(thats what the doctor said its from)

my point? Im not exactly sure.. I want to make some friends and get advice on my youtube channels. I do have 2 tripods but one is small..the other I got gave and it is missing parts..(can't even buy the parts the been discontinued).. I want to branch out my reborn channel..but not sure if it's a good idea..I mean will people even watch a channel with reborn dolls that also has other kinds of dolls? I tried on my coloring channel to share some books I got and mention books I read..It got very little views..(under 20 if im remember correctly)..

Im scared of what people think about me..I used to not be this way..When I first started out I showed my face now I do not..My 2 channels the reborn doll and coloring ones ive never showed my face..Ive noticed the toxic family member has done a lot of damage to my self esteem..(I have broke down crying cause of this person) I only put up with them cause of my mother other than the fact they are my ride (when they will do it)..I have no transportation I do not and cannot drive.(my vision is bad). I do use the only public transit my town has but you have to call 3 days in advance and see if they can fit you on there schedule.(my insurance covers all the medical trips with them and I automatic get on there ride list for medical)

I don’t run a channel but I would suggest choosing the one that has the largest following and submit all your content to just that one. Having a variety of content on one channel can appeal to a larger audience. Maybe not everyone is interested in X but if you also make content with Y and Z maybe it will entice them to view X just to see what it is about and eventually grow to like it as well. It is easy to stagnate on just one topic. But if you work in a roundabout way, visit X on this day, Y on another and Z on another, then back to X it makes your content a little more personal and interesting. People will learn more about you through your interests and maybe even suggest new things for you to try. Heck sometimes I watch videos of people’s content that I have no interest in just because I like their personalities.

Another thing is consistency and key words. If you can, have a submission schedule. That way even lurkers can come to expect videos on specific days. If there is a hashtag system, use it to the fullest. I’m sure there are hashtags you can look up online that deal with your specific content. But also throw some random ones in there to maybe get views from a more diverse group.

I wish you the best of luck! It isn’t easy out there but as long as you are having fun and enjoying the content you’re producing I think that should be considered a win. Side note, there are plenty of channels where the creators don’t show their face so don’t let that aspect deter you from making content in the way you are comfortable.

first thank you for taking the time to respond. My review channel is all business. box openings whatever the companies want. I tried some normal non product review videos..they got barely any videos.. so I decided to make it all about products and companies. Seemed to work well got thousands of views..

My reborn doll channel well it was never popular..since the dolls are delicate I try not to touch them(arms,head,legs) much. IT can cause paint to wear off since they are hand painted. The fear of the paint wearing has bugged me so much ive not messed with them much at all this year..(I used to change there clothes and take pics). So now I kinda want to branch this channel out.. share my barbie collector dolls even though I only have 2.. I would also like to share my sailor moon and tuxedo mask doll(I have one of each). Im thinking about saving up and start collecting dolls but not sure what type. Im also saving up at moment to get my dog fixed which does come first.

Lastly my coloring channel..Well ive mentioned books in 1 video so far..don't think I even got a single comment..I showed books I bought to read and mentioned books I read. Maybe I should try again?

The thing making me eerie on dolls is I was told when I was younger "don't let anyone know you have them". The person was being rude to me..Saying I shouldn't have dolls at my age(I don't remember my age at the time). there same person who broke my duck house collectible fairy..( never found a replacement it was a limited edition).. I just don't get why people have to be cruel..

Barbie and Sailor Moon dolls should go on the reborn dolls channel.

If you want to show different one Barbie is from the other, use the review channel. On this theme, you can compare the Barbie to the Sailor Moon themed dolls. Also, you can compare the appearance of the SM dolls to the anime or manga art.

I just got 2 new barbie dolls to add my collection.(they where gifts from my mom) Im trying to build my confidence/self esteem back up..Im just kinda down right now.. Re homed 1 of my 3 dogs..It was born here..My toxic family member is reason for it. Trying to save it from them.they are animal abusers. There dogs bite people and 2 of theres tied into each other. My dogs don't bite or fight...anyway sorry for the rambling..So much going on..

Im eerie of doing reviews on the dolls cause youtube has this thing if THEY think your channel is for kids they take your comment section away. So that's one reason my review channel is all makeup,household,pet products,ect..They have mislabeled adult channels for kids tons of times.. I do not play or make any doll talk. I just like the artwork..Im more into I guess you call it the design of the doll? Wish I had some friends to talk to about these things

I'm sorry about the rehoming of your dog :( It must be hard. But if he reached a household where he won't be abused, it's far better this way.

thank you. yes the new rules on youtube make it challenging.. yes the dog is in a place where he isn't getting hit or mistreated. I just don't think it's right im having to re home or do anything cause of abusive toxic family member..They don't live here but try and run my life. They even told the lady that buys eggs from me that I went up in price( which I didn't thers no telling what else was told). So found out that's why the egg lady stopped coming around. She is the only company me and my mom get. The egg lady we called and told her we had eggs and she stopped by asking if we went up in price.. Turns out my toxic family member been doing there usual mouth running. So lady bought some eggs since price did not go up.

you're correct, it's not right to feel as if your hand is being forced by nasty family members, in any kind of way, and especially when it comes to rehoming pets. I can't believe what that person did, to spread lies about you. >.< I just can't imagine how a person can be so evil.

that's the way things are around here.. It's all drama.. Im so tired of it all..

anyway trying to clear my head.. going to have to start doing some self care.. Even if it's just a facial exfoliate.. I hope it will reduce some of my stress. Maybe get where I can film again.

update aug/ 26/22 I was able to take a picture of my 2 porcelain dolls. They where dropped off by a collector who was downsizing. I got them free in july. IT was between me and and a young child.. So I got them. I also sent the pic to the former owner. One of the dolls was her anniversary gift.. so I was letting her know they where still with me and being took care of. She asked me to take care of them cause they where both special to her. She just having to downsize her collection and look for a new place to live. She is a older lady and her and her husband have had leg/knee surgeries and can't do the stairs in there house anymore. She sometimes buys eggs. I got enough out of my slump to post the pic on instragram.
