not the best, I'm afraid. Unfortunately my house burnt down in May due to an electrical fire. Then, after being at the hotel a few days, someone took advantage of the situation and robbed our house. We only managed to get some of our belongings out. My favorite stuffed Ty cats was lost, Sophie. They don't make her anymore so we can't replace her. I just turned 14 in June. With four people stuck in such a small living space and all with mental illnesses and trauma, everyone's fighting constantly. I've had multiple flashbacks. We currently can't find a house to rent. It's really just so stressful :(
You are so young to have to go through that. I'm sorry. I know you have probably heard this before, but things can always be replaced. You cannot be. I'm glad that you and your family were able to get out safely. It may be possible to find said Ty plushie on amazon once funds are available? Right now is a very difficult time to be on the market for a new place. My fiance and I are also having difficulty finding a place to stay. Hopefully your family will find something soon, This sounds like a very difficult time in your life, but the good thing is, it WILL pass, friend. I promise that there will be better days ahead.

there's always ebay! Take a chance and see if you can find a replacement for Sophie there. I mean, you'll never know unless you try, right?
I know sentimental value cannot be replaced. Trust me, that's a lesson I've learned several times over my 3 decades and change I've been on this earth. Sad to say, it never gets easier. I hope at least you're able to find some replacement for Sophie and, as cliche as it is, a light at the end of the tunnel.
You'll be okay. It might not seem like it now, but take things one day at a time.
