Umbrellas and Parasols in History
Humans have been using umbrellas and/or parasols for at least 4,000 years. They were and are important accessories through the times.
Challenge: Please depict a historical HA using an umbrella or a parasol.
Categories Eras to choose from are:
- Ancient Egypt (parasol or flagellum)
- Ancient Greece (skiadeion)
- Ancient Rome (parsol or umbraculum)
- Ancient China (sǎn)
There’ll be a winner for each era who can choose a prize out of the prize pool. You can participate in every category if you want.
Please inform yourself about fashion and clothing in the mentioned eras.
All items are allowed. Please add scenery to your HA!
