Happy Pride! I was planning on going to my first march and festival since coming out as ace, but I ended up catching a minor case of covid. I'm hoping to go to another one later in the month

I hope you’re doing better! covid numbers have been nuts where I live.

I have only gone to teeny pride events, and of course the biggest pride event in my area got canned by the city because a lot of people didn’t want police in the parade after COVID started up because of a lot of the protests, and the city withheld the rights to the parade. Not to get overly political.

and stop by the vegan bakery that has special rainbow pastries this month at some point

I'm doing much better, thanks! Covid numbers are really high in my area too. Thankfully it was minor because I'm fully vaxxed and boostered and I didn't get any of my family sick.

I went to the Equality March in DC back in 2017, long before I knew I was ace. I had a really good time and have been wanting to go to another one since but something always comes up. The one I was supposed to go was a police free area and I thought it was a great idea.
