What do you mean "nothing will be done about this?" The suspect is dead, so nothing can be done. What happened is very tragic.

There's never going to be complete control, true, but mass shootings can be DRASTICALLY reduced by some basic, obvious gun control laws. The biggest one is comprehensive background checks. Almost all mass shooters have at least one domestic violence calls on their record... even the ones that would slip through every other crack, like the las vegas guy in 2017.

I know nothing about guns or gun control laws (they're trying to ban guns in Canada), where would a background check be done?

Don't get me wrong; we have stabbings and shootings in my city (Sometimes I see other articles about crime in other parts of Canada as well) but the news I mostly see, is crime (stabbings, shootings, car jackings etc) in Southern Ontario and the US.

did you see the latest, they are going to demolish the school. The mayor said no child or teacher should have to return there i believe.
