: Head on over to SL and lets get started on this new 3-part challenge.

I am checking bases with my team, but at this moment Kushiel has health needs and has stepped down, and I've had sporadic contact with the others. I expect that at least someone will join, but if we only have two actives, or worst case, one active (myself), would it be okay if that one person did an attempt at all three, or should we definitely plan to join a team?

i'm going on record as saying etc :P

As a 2-member-team, would we be allowed to do all 3 challenges if we are real quick? :-)

I am not asking because we wouldn't like to collaborate with another team (lotsa friends in WS and I love you all - hugs!) yet because we are in Germany and therefore it is night for us when most other players are here, or we have to work.

This challenge format was created precisely because a number of teams have members who have fallen by the wayside for a bit (or just plain fell off the trail,) and the others were working themselves to death. That last roleplay earned purple paws for some of you captains.

I kind of expect at least two members will be able to participate fully for each team, but in case you are confronted and overburdened, you have the following requirements and options:

Each active team member will sign up for ONE of the challenges. For example, Susie, Bonnie, Jane, Horace, and Clyde are a team, but Jane is only partially there, Horace has left, and the others are the only ones remaining. This is really ideal, since there are three active members (please have me remove Horace from the roster, though.)

But what is Susie is suddenly too reluctant to take part right now, leaving us with Bonnie and Clyde. Now, they are pretty lookin' people, but I can tell you people, they can't get full credit. (Apologies to Georgie Fame.)

Each person taking on a challenge gets full credit for only ONE challenge, even if the teams stick together and help. It's 2K in points for each port of call.

But what can two members do? Read on:

1. Just do two challenges, You will get 4K in points, and you may not care in the long run. However, I'm beating the bushes for donations of "really cool stuffeths," and buying off wishlists, so order of entry into the Squirrel's Bounty may matter. Who knows?

2. Borrow a Purrie. If you love RP and/or CWs, create a Purrie. Make up a close personal servant of one of the Kitlets, describe them in a SHORT RP, dress them up using a cat body (Subeta is loaded with cat items) and send them off to the island which is the least desirable for your own personal efforts. It's a little more work for you, but it's full points, and you'll have a Purrie report to submit. (Daisy will present them for you, so don't have any results to worry about.)

3. Grab hands with another team who is also down members and combine your efforts.

4. Pretend the assignment doesn't exist and tell more terrible jokes. This is known as the Weldon maneuver.

so wait if shy does the puzzle only she can do it as Jean? Because my team was gonna have one character for the puzzke, one for the diplomatic misson and and three for ghe battle. All are present for this one.

My team seems to be down to three active players for this part. So to make sure we understand correctly (some team members have questions)...Each one of us can visit one of the places? But we can't go and help each other at the areas where the others are? Or is that possible?

Okay, we seem to all have the same questions, whether by smail or on the board, but I think I now have all the teams who are going to be participating.

1. Can our team help each other?

Yes, of course, BUT, you will only be traveling to ONE location for each member. For example. if Ignatz goes to Corsair, be can not then travel to anywhere else, and Suzette must battle on Piazza alone. (Their players may conference behind the scenes, of course, but any role-play action on the "coming soon" thread must involve only the characters in that location,)

2. If we have a full team, can more than one of them go together in one location?

Yes, they may, but you can only get 2000 points for each location.

3. Do we have to use a Purrie if we don't have enough active players?

No, but you will not get the points for that location.

I hope this clears things up and we can proceed to the challenges. Will everyone be prepared after this three day weekend, or do we nee more time?

So if I understand, team members may help out each other in regards to puzzles etc but only one team member can be at a specific location and the RP will be for the member and at the location they chose.

1 member, 1 location, 1 RP.
