Hey all, I'm aware that returning inactive players who've had their usernames snagged get a free name change. What I don't know is the method of which these are sent out. Is it a CSC credit since the feature costs CSC? Or should the name change go through like when renaming pets? I did have a decent CSC balance when logging in, but I assumed it was just leftover from events and doesn't show up in my cash shop log (probably because it's ancient lol). There's also the possibility of being given an additional loyalty box?
I'm hoping it wasn't via a special link from the original notification because I've apparently logged in since then and cleared them. Not sure if providing a timeframe helps any, but I have emails with my original username from mid-2016 and when I requested a password change in early 2019 it was as it's shown here. I do have loyalty boxes so it's no big deal if something funky happened, however, I'd like to save them for pet slots/recolors if possible. Thanks!
Have you checked here to see if it's a credited thing that you can just change? Otherwise I'd think it was something you'd send in a ticket for. Welcome back!

Thank you! And yes, I have. It tries to use CSC and tells me I don't have enough. Was planning on sending in a ticket but I wanted to make sure the method of crediting free name changes at the time wasn't a CSC credit before bothering a mod because, if so, I spent the 1000 intended for a name change on CW (priorities sjdvddh) and deserve to use up one of my loyalty boxes.
If your username was taken, and the name change feature wants to charge you CSC for it, please fill out a support ticket so staff can help you with this!
