Hello everybody! I had a friend who regularly gifted me a GA. It's running out soonish though. Now I'm asking all players without a GA, what do you do with your shops? Before having a GA I used to price each of my items but I don't have the time to do it anymore. I considered to frag the cheaper items (anything up to 50k probably) and only put the more valuable items into my shops. How does everybody else handle it? TIA

I pretty much just ignore my shops. I only add items that I acquire that are very expensive and price by looking at shop search. I will add stuff to my shop when the "time is right" - so for example I'll add Vesnali coins to my shop on the first or second day of the event, add ornaments as soon as trees are announced, etc. That way I'm only hand pricing a small number of items at very specific times to get max profit.
The rest of the time I rely on questing to get sP.

Before I bought the subscription, I would stick every spare item in the shop, then when I received a GA as some sort of site gift, I'd autoprice everything all at once. Fragging is probably the optimal solution if you don't want to do that though-- it turns it into some sort of currency, and when rare items pop up, you can purchase them with the crystals and try reselling them for sp.
Thank you for your thoughts about this, it really helped. What I already do is stick items that are likely to be asked for by the Recycle Beast into a seperate shop. I might do this for even more items from now on. The rest I just shoved into my main shop for now until I made up my mind. There's a tendency for fragging the cheaper items atm. It seems like the least time consuming solution at the moment. When would one get a GA as a site gift? I got one from Galaxia once, I have no idea why though. Is it just random when one is active at the forums? Gladly I mainly rely on questing for earning sP as well. The shops are just some nice side income and the place where everything goes that's not of use for me.

They used to give them out a lot for downtimes, but those seem to be mostly a thing of the past. I also think that sometimes they'd be site challenge prizes-- like quest-a-thons and the like.
People that have subscriptions also get 'buddy gold accounts' that they can hand out to people, so that's probably where that one came from!
if you keep an eye on the Giveaway sub-forum, people will sometimes post a GA bonus draw or some such. Example: Giving away 15 Buddy GA&;s (note they've all been given away already, but its the type of thing to look for).

Yeah, I seem to have a 1 week GA medal in my vault from before I took a break that I certainly didn't buy back then. Must be from some event or a downtime excuse. I'm certainly saving it for now though for the next quest-a-thon.
My friend used to give me her Buddy GA from her subscription which was very convinient for me. She's taking a break now which leaves me without a GA atm.
Thanks for the hint, I'll be checking the forum from now on.

I realize this isn't necessarily the route you want to take since I understand you're looking for solutions that may not require a GA, but the information may be helpful to you or others who aren't aware -- you can buy CSCs from other users with sP, and use those CSCs to purchase Gold Account Medals from the Cash Shop. Alternatively, the base-level subscription -- equivalent to the GA you get from a GA Medal -- is just $3/month and you can cancel any time. (I understand times are tight right now, especially for those of us with kiddos to look after, but I'm just putting it out there. A lot of folks don't realize that our base GA price dropped from $5/month to $3/month.)
