@ Galaxia I am wondering where this is enforced. Does it matter if you post in a private group, on a topic over 3 months old? Or is it just in the "public" areas? I have not seen this clarified, only as: "The normal rule is not to post on a topic that has not been posted on in over 3 months. There are some exceptions: Problems & Bugs and Site Feedback have no rules against posting on old topics and in Suggestions & Ideas you should not post on anything that hasn't been posted on in 15 months or longer." Thank you ever so much for the assistance. ❤

For future reference, it is best to file a ticket to ask a UA if you have any questions about rules.

Quote by The Rules
Threads that have reached the necro limit will be automatically locked by ForumBot. The necro limit is 6 months in all forums EXCEPT FOR:

Suggestions & Ideas - 15 months
Problems & Bugs, Site Feedback, Gold Accounts Beta Testing - No limit
Additionally, all threads in Advertising and Wanted that are older than 6 months and have not received ANY posted responses during that time will be deleted.

If a thread you created or want to post on has been locked by ForumBot, you may create a new thread on the same topic.

Thank you for the info, Jovi. Also didn't know I needed to file a ticket to ask a question about the site. So thank you for that as well. ❤

You don't necessarily need to, but to get a sure answer on a rule, its best practice so that a UA can guide you in the right direction instead of hearing (maybe) the wrong thing from an average user and then accidentally breaking a rule :)
