Couldn't find the answer to this in the faq or site rules, forgive me if it's mentioned somewhere obvious.

I have a friend whose account is inactive. I know this means someone else can take her account name and pet names, and that if someone takes a pet name she will be given the option to rename that pet? Right? Does this also work for the account name? Like if her name is Blorbo, and someone takes the name Blorbo for their own, will she be given the option to rename her account?

I'd also like confirmation that if she logs back in her account will still be intact, items, currencies, and pet names included, as long as no one else has taken those names.

yes, if your username gets taken you have the option of changing it for free. pet names are no longer unique, though, so she wouldn't have to worry about those being "taken." they'll stay the same even if someone else wants to make a pet with the same name. items and currencies will also stay intact.
