Is there actually rhyme or reason to the fishing game? It seems like I always get "if only you had gotten a little closer" or whatever he says. Also can the ground tiles be the best fishing spot? I can't tell if I'm thinking too hard about it or what 😅

the one person I know who's talked about this game (and won it at least once) did seem to think there was some rhyme or reason...but it is also extremely luck based. The problem is that the "win" is not based on the big boxes you see and click in - its based on hitting a single pixel (or maybe a tiny 5x5 pixel grid) within one of those boxes.

As for the ground tiles, yes I think they can be the best spot. I don't really think the grid or image are important other than as reference points for playing the game.

I can't refer you to the individual who has won the game because he's not onsite anymore.

That makes a lot of sense if it's not based on the grid on the image. Thanks so much for all the info! It helps a little to know that it's not TOTALLY random.

Would you happen to know if it's possible to get the "best spot" before your last guess? Like could you theoretically get the best spot on your first pick?

I don't know...it does seem theoretically possible. I've given up on getting the achievement and just go for the items. I pick one spot and then reload the game until it finishes. LOL I play quickly, don't get frustrated and just get the stuff :).

Well thanks for the help! I will probably continue to think too hard about it 😅 But I do enjoy collecting the fish along the way! It's a fun little game even if I haven't yet beaten it, I would love that achievement though
