Gelatin Hero achievement, what is going on with it?

Name: Gelatin Hero
Description: Slay the Hydragellos!
A bit of history: the last user who hits the last hit and defeat the Hydragellos used to receive this achievement + the Core
What has changed: since the last Gelatin War, all the users who are doing 15m/10m damage are getting prizes + The Core and the Hydra leaves, but not slayed, so nobody is receiving the achievement
What can be done: Change the description to "Hit 15m/10m of damage to the Hydragellos" and give it away along with the other prizes or completely retire it.
But no matter how many times I've raised the problem, nobody from the team gave an answer and once again the achievement will sit on the list for another year or 2 year, even more.
So can we have an answer please please? :(
would kind of like some clarity on this as well. it'd be nice if they'd give the achievement for reaching 10mil damage this year. adding a core to your armory still gives you the "Hydragellos Slayer" achievement, so why not give us a chance to get this too?
i'm pretty fresh to the site compared to people who have been here for 10 years or more and so have never got a shot at it.
it'd be a shame to see it retired instead of reworked, if needed.
I hate having that there to taunt me as well. I'd say it should be retired though. I'm sure only a few people have the achievement, but it would be a shame for them if their super exclusive achievement suddenly became fairly easy to achieve. In its place I would love to see a new achievement for getting top damage (10m this year, 15m last war, whatever it may be for each war) against hydra.

I say just retire it and make a new achievement. I want to see something done about because people shouldn't have to keep asking about it.
Yes, I'd rather it be retired and instead something about being a Top Slayer for reaching 15mil/10mil and earning a Core.
Agree with those who think it should be retired and replaced with a more relevant achievement.
Especially since its exactly the type of achievement staff says they're interested in promoting - it does not encourage hoarding and encourages being onsite (you have to be to get in that amount of damage). It takes a lot of work/effort both to get the achievement itself AND in training up a pet strong enough to do it. Plus it has to be earned yourself (can't borrow it, like you can borrow the core).

My opinion on this:
make the ach for those getting 15mill and 10 mill for a core or even 25 mill for the ach- make it harder but NOT impossible!
