anyone here play Arknights? it's a fantastic tower defense style mobile/tablet game with anime furries (kemonomimi mostly but there are some full furries). it's also a gacha game so if you have any gambling issues i can't recommend it based on the gacha system, but even with it's EXTREMELY f2p friendly compared to most gacha games.

I love Arknights! I've been playing since launch on global, and I'm pretty much on every day. Just sent a friend request, but I'm Gie#0528 for anyone else who drops by. 8^)

I agree 100% though - I've tried a lot of gacha games, but Arknights has been the most f2p friendly by far. My only gripe with the game is the writing, because although the lore is extremely interesting, it's just...man, I didn't expect this much critical thinking in a game about anime furries.

I'm really excited for the permanent rogue-like mode though!

Yeah I'm super hyped for the Nearl and Specter alters!! I'm not sure if I'll be rolling that hard for Nearl, but Specter's new art is just gorgeous and she looks really fun to use, especially in combination with Skalter. The Aegir are probably my favorite race lore-wise, so very excited we're getting more 6 stars here 8^)

For some of the other 6 stars, Irene also looks fun, but I have so many 6 star guards already...that levitation mechanic is pretty interesting though. Lumen, it's nice to get another 6 star healer, not sure how I feel about him yet but it seems like pretty good timing considering how much more relevant status effects are becoming. Maybe we'll get another healer revolution like with what happened to Nightingale when the Talulah stages dropped?

Overall, I'm really excited for everything coming up - any ops you're looking forward to also?

i was lucky enough to get nearlter (and a dupe of her no less!) but i'm unsure if i'm going to actually really use her bc beyond regular nearl, plat, and gravel i don't use a lot of kazimierz ops...

oh i'm mega excited for lumen tbh, never enough medics!! i'm REALLY looking forward to goldenglow (pink cat..... finally) and the laterano event. have you seen the sankta in the wheelchair? i don't know much about her but i'm mildly in love already

That's awesome that you got Nearlter! I only rolled until I got just one six star and ended up getting Flametail, she's pretty interesting but I've already have cheap+strong ops like Bagpipe and Mountain so not sure where I'd use her either... I am happy that Weedy finally came into the cert shop though, to be honest I was more excited about getting her lol

I haven't seen the Sankta in the wheelchair until now but she looks pretty interesting! I'm not sure what the context behind her is, I haven't read all of the events so was she in a past event?

i've had weedy for a while but not really raised her (i ADORE shaw and try to use her whenever possible) but it's SUPER cool she's in the shop finally!!!

oh she's in an upcoming event!! there's going to be one themed around laterano and she's in it. i don't know much about her yet but i really love her design and am excited to meet her!!!

also, i have finally e2'd siege despite her being one of my first 6*s because i hate her e2 art facial expression and have finally e2'd her bc her skin is coming back in the next cc which i Think is after the mansfield break rerun

Y'all mind if I hop in because I just started playing arknights, like three weeks ago or so and I love it?

I played another newly released gacha (Dislyte) since I got pretty bored of playing Fire Emblem Heroes (which I still like! I just didn't really have much fun anymore after 3 years of play, which is still a good lifespan) buuuut Dislyte ended up pretty disappointing in everything but the character designs.

People seem to love arknights so I ended up giving it a shot, and I'm glad I did! Still pretty new, though

I'll admit I was so gobsmacked by how stingy Dislyte was and how badly handled some of the game's features were that I perused the Dislyte and gachagaming subreddits to see if I was being nuts or if this was a universal experience. Arknights kept getting recommended as one of the best gachas on the market so I gave them a shot - good word of mouth does wonders.

I'm only level 15 and just completed the story in 2-8 (barely, I need to do some tweaks to get my score to 3 stars). My favourite operators so far are Projekt Red (got her in a freebie box when I signed on), she's super fun to use and I love her vibes, I use Blacknight and her little pet Slumberfoot in all of my squads, as well as Ashlock. Aak is another fave, but more situational so I don't take him out for a spin nearly as much.

One QOL feature I would kill for in Arknights is definitely queueing up multiple autobattles in a row, that would be fire

god yeah dislyte is MEGA stingy, its rates absolutely SUCK compared to arknights haha.

well, i'm glad you've found arknights!! ;v; and oh MAN 2-8 was ROUGH when i was first starting out.

those are all good ops!!! red aak and ashlock (as well as shaw unfortunately -- i adore her as well!!) tend to be kinda to Very situational (but red in particular is very handy as a fast redeploy!) but they're Goode nonetheless.

god id ABSOLUTELY kill for that as well, that's one of dislyte's best features tbh.

i actually have the shaw arctech figure (as well as the kal'tsit nendo, though i don't think you've met her a lot in the story yet in ch2)!!

After I got my second Li Ling dupe (on pity every time!!) I knew Dislyte doesn't want me in its club LMAO

I haven't pulled Goldenglow (yet??) but I'd love to, working with Whisperain and Perfumer as Medics rn. I also don't really mind operators being situational bc unlike in other gachas, you actually get a nice bataillon of them to start off with to clear most maps

No I haven't seen much of Kalt'sit, I'm looking forward to seeing more of her though and get absolutely slandered by her

man i would be so hype for that if i weren't still on 4-10 and too afraid to enter lmao the recommended operator level is elite 1 lvl 70 and most of my girlies are at e1 lvl 30-40 still.. so many battle records and so much LMD.......
