Would it be possible for the items (especially from the cash shop!) to return an error if you attempt to unlock the opponent when you already have them? I've done it twice fairly recently, because I mixed up which challenger an item unlocked and still had it on my wishlist to read the book to my pet. The book disappeared, but because I already had the opponent, nothing changed. It seems like a pretty simple check, since it already doesn't let you read the same book to the same pet multiple times, or put the same item in your wardrobe, but maybe because they're different systems it's more complicated? Figured I'd ask and save those of us with ADHD the wasted CSC!

It consumes the item, even if you've already got it unlocked? YIKES. You should definitely file a ticket and see if you can be reimbursed.

Hopefully staff can get this fixed because this should not be intentional. :C

If they can't even make unlocked challengers show up in account search, they should at least throw up an error. It's not always easy to connect the item to a challenger, especially if your newish and you don't know most of them, so checking the challengers you did unlock isn't always easy either.

I've done this before with sP ones, last was with Blackened Pumpkin before it dropped in price. It just returns a blank page with the option Back to your items!

The good news is that you can always ticket to get the item returned. I know I've done it... far too many times. Which is why I'm surprised that they are still consuming the item, then I see someone mentioned the pumpkin and indeed it does still happen. Some challengers, like cs I think have been fixed but I imagine some could be missed.

Happened to me too with the pumpkin... It would be helpful to get an error message or a warning of some sort.

Good to know on the tickets, just filed one, thanks folks! But yeah, it should just error "You've already unlocked this challenger!" or something. I always hate filing tickets and bothering someone for something avoidable!

The Maimed Research Notes (Slaughtersaurus) and the Blackened Pumpkin for sure. I thought there was another CSC one but looking back through my purchases I can't find any other doubles except for a couple that are in my wardrobe. But yay for it creating an error soon! :D
