Hi, so I'm looking to see how much people are doing with their pets and what their goals are. C:
I probably could do 15mil damage, but it would require a lot of hours which I don't have during the weekday. So probably aiming for 5mil, hopefully. May not happen if I forget/am busy. ;3;
2,031,799 with a tier 11 pet with 2533 strength T_T
my tips (as a casual battler, mind you):
have your pet's heal id handy - https://subeta.net/explore/healer.php?act=heal&petid=id## you can figure it out by going to the healer here : https://subeta.net/explore/healer.php and right click on the heal button for your battle pet and click "copy link" it feels like it saves time plus less time to have to look at the healer who steals your sp monies 8D when you paste the heal url for your pet in another tab
figure out if you're wanting to go all guns ablazing with bombs (and likely die on your first turn) or chain freeze and survive but do likely comparatively fewer damage per round aka what will take you longer time with healing between battles and also what you can afford with healing (continuing shady looking at the healer)
don't know what weapons to use? https://www.subetalodge.us/weap_list has a weapons list according to pet tier and there's plenty of tier advice in the battle subforum already, too
sure, using one use potions will be beneficial per fight but consider 1) added costs 2) added time equipping more of these one use items and if it's truly worth it (unless you already have a lot of these equipped then sure, why not)
zapping weapons is not worth it, neither is stealing
post / share your own, too! :3
good luck, everyone! ❤️ let's go get that mean monster!
Wuf 15,104,481 115 battles
x1 x18 x4 x1
That’s the set I used. Only used the full blockers a few times just to save a bit in healing costs. Mostly just had preselection on and hit the attack button every time it turned dark blue
Kilroy___ 15,084,650 (Capped T13, 134 battles, average 20 turns and ~112,572 damage per battle) SunDragon 156,112 (Low T12, 8 battles so far, average 7-9 turns ~19.5k damage per battle)
So what I did is actually bookmark the healing link url for both of my pets, have a healer tab open, and have three active "choose your equipment" tabs, plus the url copied. So when I lose one battle and click "end battle" I then swap to the dedicated healer tab and click the bookmark to heal that pet, then tab over to another "equipment" page and start the next battle. When all three prep pages are used, heal then paste the url in each of them to prep them again. Due to lag there were a few snafus with jumping the gun and not healing before the next battle was attempted, and having to go back and refresh both tabs, but on the whole it was really quick.
Since Kilroy is capped, I lead off with freezer+Captured Eternal Flame and Gift of the Forj, then Mecha and Potion of Robot for the strength boost and curse/blessing + Shriek, then Bear Head Bomb and Potion of Phoenix + Shriek, and then roll into my main attackers with eye of royalty/marquise and 1 critical strike mods each. With just 8001 speed, I was regularly critting for double damage, but when I started using the mod crystals I was hitting up to 11k damage in one turn. I tried running 2 critical strike crystals on my attackers but it was returning less overall damage per turn that I figured would ultimately outpace the chance of further crit damage at that point.
Trying with my low T12, SunDragon, he is built for strength at the moment but he is a glass cannon. IEH+STS + Aftershocks, then BHB + PoP + Strong Stomp, then attackers with the next few freezer scrolls I have until I run out or a freeze fails, then aftershocks and get KOed. He's averaging about 20k damage per battle if he lasts all 9 turns for his scrolls to default to aftershocks, and about 1000 damage less per turn than Kilroy was.
Any advice for potions to use? My pet is T9 but nearly always gets one-shot so stealing ain't helping me. I've been using the vials I got off the gelatins before it...
My pet is tier 8 with 2103 HP. Anyone know of any really good healing weapons or potions or scrolls??
Negating Pylonic is a one-use-and-gone-forever full block. Glaciating Pylonic(likewise) has a slim chance to freeze. Trying to steal or blast won't really help you here. You just want to maximize your damage per turn. What other equipment and scrolls are you using for this?
Oh I'm aware of the need to just maximize damage but thanks for asking.
I'm aware I need to upgrade, but I don't want to simply waste sp willy-nilly since I don't generally battle much anymore outside of big site events. I'm not well versed in scrolls and basically just kept the first one I got by pure chance.
I've noticed the quill sometimes gets me to a second turn so that's helpful. Thanks ahead of time for any advice you have!
Volatile Energized Mecha Potion of Phoenix Captured Eternal Flame Scientist Specs Bear Head Bomb Potion of the Robot Ballista Ballista
Lucky x 3 Then alternating Psycho and Lucky x many
Vallenorix (capped) 15 million Eleka (capped) 15 million Chitsuki (capped) 7,567,523 so far.
Ooh boy. Ok. I think you have about 90 AP to work with, right? So here is what I'm gonna do, I'll lend you some equipment until the end of the event.
Use IEH and STS for your freeze(and one turn freeze protection) and STS for full block. Use Potion of Phoenix with Item Hunter Bomb + 1 Shriek for your second turn and try to get off another freeze. Sub Trusty Blades in for your staff and Aemis. AoN replaces the shield as another full block that is semi-breakable, so sometimes it will endure for another turn. Try to chain as many freezes as you can together.
Do you know about mod crystals? Go to your armor and select Modify Your Weapons, and add the marquise crystals to the slots on Trusty Blades and Reborn Icewand by dragging each crystal over to an empty slot. Trade Lot Trade Lot Trade Lot
Yeah the AP is 88 last I looked.
My set is that bad huh? Lolol. I have been slowly upgrading since I hit T7, but it's spendy and I was trying to buy all foods. I do know about the crystals and mods and all.
Thanks so much. Do you want some extra collateral like CSC or something?
Also I am about to clock in at work so I won't be able to offer for these until about 10 or 11 this evening. Sorry to ask and run!
If you have the battle tokens for it Potion of the Robot is another good bomb in the battle token shop.
Okay, then you'll need to scramble up some extra books to get the last 2 AP for the final Shriek, or you can try to find a smaller damaging scroll instead.
And no offense meant lol I've just been an avid and active battler for most of my time here, so I have a decent collection of the viable weapons and scrolls. This and the wardrobe are my highest investments XD
And nah I don't need collat. Almost every battler I have met here are Good People. I trust you won't break that streak :3 And that is fine I'll try to be on then to accept. Good luck with your shift.
I went with:
Crimsyn T13, 488 AP, 81 losses Modded mostly with
x2 x28
Still working on my other pets. It’s a slog with the lag 😬
I could do with some suggestions too. My pet is Tier 11 and my strategy has been to start with Shinwa's Temple Shard and Fruit Bone Dagger while trying to freeze with Shriek of Despair, then Fruit Bone Dagger + Intricate Energized Helmet for a guaranteed second freeze, then Fruit Bone Dagger + Swashbuckler and my Aftershock scroll for a little damage.
From the advice here I picked up a second Shriek of Despair and Potion of the Robot to extend that freeze chain a little more. But I could do with more. I have about 180 million sp to spend, though I know how fast that can vanish.
First turn I would do helmet + shinwas temple shard so your second turn you can use two bombs/attackers and a shriek just so you are doing damage to him while he’s defenseless
Shrieks are always a good investment if you have the ap to equip more
Is Volatile Energized Mecha worth the investment? I see a lot of people rocking it but I don't fully understand why.
It’s not worth buying, but you can make it for free from the components in the battle shop. It has a curse that lasts like 100 turns. It’s okay? Not a necessity in almost any circumstance
I feel like you're better off leading with STS and IEH and I was gonna suggest a better attacker than the dagger but looking it up on subetalodge, it does a nifty amount of minimal damage. You have mods in use? I'd suggest marquise crystals for 5 extra icons plus chance for the curse. Make sure not to equip the defensive ones though.
