[sub]hi yes hello is anyone else currently many hours deep into elden ring? i have never been into fromsoftware games previously, the only one i've played any substantial amount of is sekiro bc many of my coworkers and my parnter (who is a big souls fan) highly recommended it to me (i work in gaming QA) and i played about 10 hours before getting very stuck but otherwise have only played less than an hour each of bloodborne and dark souls 1 which i both found too difficult and gave up on. but now i'm over 120 hours deep into elden ring, level 150, and stuck on the final boss, oops. this game is so incredibly beautiful???[/sub]
This game has managed to steal 300 hours of my time because this is my favorite from game they have released!
"From the earth, we will return" "A world without you isn't meant for me"

Elden Ring is fantastic. I've gotten all the way up to the final boss as well, I'm kind of stalled there but I haven't been giving it many attempts.

Radagon nooo don't get me ahaha I'm so small O////O (homoerotic tension interrupted by a great cosmic beast)
I think Elden Ring is a lot more accessible than other fromsoft games :) I mean like, if you have an issue with a boss you can just do something else and come back leveled. Not to mention spirit summons (Mimic Tear is crazy LOL).
My friends are already picking apart the lore, and we're all just waiting anxiously for the Vaati video on it...
It's a lot accesible because it has so many options for playstyle as well as the customization of ashes of war, combined with less death runs to a boss room makes that so true.
It is true you can go somewhere else until you get towards the half of the game where it really shifts over from being so open world and more about finishing the game
SPOILER (click to toggle)
Once you reach capital ramparts and forwards dungeons and catacombs become much rarer and for the final zone you are really only treated to a hidden boss, as well as the other hidden boss in it's own hidden area
Vaati's videos will be glorious, however there are already lore made videos by other creators out there.

You're right of course, but getting your foot in the door is definitely one of the biggest things I think. By the time your options become more limited, you likely have a feel for things.
Also I just beat the final boss! I haven't grabbed an ending yet though, I'm planning to get the SPOILER (click to toggle)

I love the graphics and motion of Elden RIng and I've spent hours of watching other people playing the game but I doubt I'll ever dare to play it myself. My gaming skills are...well, let's skip that. Elden Ring is still a masterpiece for me but I should better stick with other stuff. ^^;
** Update
SPOILER (click to toggle)
I've completed the Dragonlord also, which leaves ONLY Melania.... ONLY the hardest boss in the game, how hard could it be? LOL
[sub]i beat the game last night!!! i started my NG+ to finish off the other 2 endings and get the 1 legendary armament i missed today. i have to say, i felt like[/sub]
SPOILER (click to toggle)
[sub]dragonlord placidusax[/sub]
For Malenia SPOILER (click to toggle)
Frostbite and Bleed are really good to deal extra damage against her.
Tishe or Black Blade are really good counters to her healing as it's % health Dot, if you go with Maliketh's black blade you have a higher HP reduction on hitting with it's weapon art.
That's the things I was doing really for the fight, and honestly SPOILER (click to toggle)
Her fight is the hardest, but it isn't hard per say for the same reason as other fights, it's her healing that usually gets people in.
