I am actually a scientist, who is studying frogs for their PhD. I'm here to chill and have a bit of down time between experiments and maybe meet some nice folk to call my friends :)

A PhD? I couldn't have gotten one of those as...yeah...I was a good student but not that good.

Can't remember if there's any PhDs in English. I remember one of my old professors thinking I should try to get my masters but...didn't have the money and I don't love school that much. I might not have had a high enough GPA even if I wanted to.

Honestly I'm having a great time, I played neopets when I was a kid so I'm familiar with the whole concept but I am loving the spin subeta has on things, especially the little avatar and wardrobe system. I'm enjoying the range of games and such too and its just a great little site to check out of real life for a bit with.

PhDs in english absolutely exist although the funding available is few an far between, and to be fair I am not super booksmart, I do badly on exams but really enjoy the coursework side of things and problem solving so it works out really well for me in that regard.

I learn best by example, so class discussions are usually a high point for me and show the professor that I know things. A few teachers I felt really comfortable with so I joked around.

Got so bad that I guess one professor couldn't tell when I was joking and when I wasn't. I can give very dry deliveries so...yeah...

@ Frog_Scientist welcome! science is awesome :) I have a few characters that are based around sciencey things, mostly genetic engineering and evolution types. i love exploring those ideas! :D hope you have fun here!

The only scientist part of me is my character here on Subeta, as you can read in my profile that I haven't worked a lot on yet but I was an Environmental student before C-19, the pandemic made me leave school and enter health care though and I'm still there, not sure if I'm going back to school or not. Big interest in taxonomy though.
